Solid vid. Thanks for posting! I use the power amp in on my Katana with my HXStomp and UAFX pedals (Dream and Lion). I still find a lot of trial and error with it. Sometimes certain setups sound good with cabs off, sometimes cabs on. Very strange. One of these days I’ll get an actual FRFR. I like the Fender FR cabs as they’re like amps a bit and give u extra tone shaping controls.

Thanks man! Yeah, it all depends. I have an FRFR from Headrush and I don't like it too much. Fender is good!

I myself have struggled before with the katana power amp in. Until I started global EQ at 100 and 6.3. Only then did the cabs in Boss GT or GX start coming to life. I did notice fizzyness in a few amps...like you said the new amps weirdly do seem designed for some weird cabs until I high cut even more than I did in global lol

I read somewhere that selecting Katana PowerAmp in the boss multi effects output corresponds to applying a global EQ of -2 low, +2 mid, 0 high. I tried it with a Line 6 Multi Effects and I got satisfactory results in some cases and disappointing results in others. I don't have any Boss multi-effects to compare. Juca, it would be interesting if you did the test with your GT-1000 to determine what the effect of this output parameter is. THANKS

With the GT-1000 is the same thing. I have a video on that. No matter what, cab sim off is the best way to go. Cheers
