personality fits the art, or lack of art. most people like to fit in or play it safe, so boring people giving boring people tattoos makes sense. i understand being humble or stoic, but dudes are just dumb.
They both do really solid traditional tattoos, but the cost for the name outweighs the tattoos sometimes. I feel like other podcasts that I've seen with these two have been more interesting. They seem uncomfortable and reserved in this video, which is a shame. I really like Paul, and his approach to keeping history intact, so I was excited to watch this.
Gypsy is considered offensive because they aren’t gypsy they are the Romani people and gypsy is a derogatory term used to refer to them as Egyptians because of their skin color
@@lovorikatattooer I think because over time words change in meaning same reason gentleman doesn’t just mean land owner anymore and same reason African Americans still use the n word
@@DerSumpfadler I understand what you mean ofc. But I am not gonna go and say to a gypsy ‘’you f…gypsy’’ etc. But if I am talking about gypsy culture and if it is in a conversation I will probably use a word gypsy, not in a pejorative way. Gypsy has now transcended the ethnicity ant made its way into a pop culture and it has become more a way of life, example irish gypsy, french gypsy etc. None of them are Romani. And I do not think g word has a same weight as the n word.
@@lovorikatattooer well first off I wasn’t just spouting random things, I can’t remember who but someone said in the interview the word gypsy is offensive and they didn’t know why so I explained it and secondly it’s not about the weight the words carry multiple things can be true at once but I definitely wouldn’t go as far to say NONE are Romani. You asked and I explained
This footage is a National Treasure with these 3 Amazing Artists. Paul took Traditional to a whole new Level and Austin is Following that trail.
Did these guys smoke a fat ass blunt before this interview or what lol

Paul’s books don’t get him any credibility? I’d like to see you do better
I’d be nervous in front of a GOAT as well.
Grime is da man, Paul hell yeah but Austin? Sorry but I don’t get the hype…

Well how come gypsies throughout europe pride themselves in the name gypsy and call them selves regularly.

Grow up and stop being offended by every little thing. This is tattooing not some other garbage industry. Or maybe it’s shifting🤦🏻♂️
