Great video as always Ryan, i also miss the early days voice over videos. I was on Stevens Pass last week and one guy gave compliments on my carving in the lift line. This really meant alot to me considering i self taught from nothing to now by watching your carving tutorials and self recordings.
Great tips on when to pivot! Unfortunately been there too often here in the East this year due to conditions but heading West next week to ride the edge!!
Hey, just got a Knapton Twin and I'm wondering about different snow conditions... I usually see you carving on freshly groomed runs... Is it actually possible to carve well in other conditions? I'm alright on fresh runs (still can't get all the way down, but I can leave nice thin lines on both edges), but later in the day once things get tracked out it becomes increasingly difficult to get my edges locked in. I always seem to skid... Do you have any videos about carving in different conditions?
i go Sliver Mountain and 49 degrees resorts all the time. I have two Donek boards and when my son is not with me you could try his. Specs 157 cm 30cm width 8.5 scr. get in touch with me
Yeah... When You staying the "+" position in a back side turn the twisting the board is the bud pain to make the board skidding. Wouldn't You make the video how to prevent it, Ryan?
