Great video detailing the cards and the set/sets, Dave! I was still debating on opening up these, but you’ve convinced me to give it a try! I also want to buy those premium boxes that released before this as well! Looking forward to it 🤩

I got the sasuke PU card, its me from when I used your URL Link and asked about the best pulls, I did pull PU sasuke and MR kid naruto, others 4 or 5 were UR but not bad for my first box
I'm sure a few people have seen me have my small rant by now, I just wish this set was either sold as a standalone box or didn't call it Tier 4 Wave 6. Yeah, that's a Western naming convention for the hobby, I get it. But that doesn't change the fact that every detail about these cards is different from the other sets using this style of box and packaging. Also, the R's and SR's for example picking up number-wise from the old sets, but the setcode is different with that weird "Z06" labeling, and the art is different style (that second point I'm more cool with, love new styles for the same rarities and stuff). No other card collection kinda messes this stuff up lol. Geek I loved your snippet you had on this conversation, I also don't like the "trash" terminology getting tossed around haha. I've spent more money on this hobby and collection than maybe like 3/4 of the crowd, and will still continue it because I love Naruto Kayou. The BEST looking cards out there, period. My master case arrives in about 2 weeks because I did freight shipping. Excited to see all the openings coming up.
@@collectkaisen great comment 👍 I probably should have said in the video, maybe I alluded to it a little, but I almost feel they are mirroring a little with some of the other recent sets they’ve done outside of Naruto, R being all scene cards for example, the backs of the cards are different - seemingly a more general direction for Kayou going forward. I do miss the AR’s, loved those designs, hopefully they make a comeback!
also wanted to add a note after watching more of the video, I too would think it is suuuper cool if they end up dropping these sets as "arc" boxes. Like you said, there being a chunin exams or sasuke retrieval arc box would be LIT
@@collectkaisen yep, they've got a wealth of arcs if they keep going too, though can't say I'd be mega excited for a lot of the filler arcs 😅 Kakashi Anbu was great though!
@@GeekLounge_TVI think SE and maybe even SP are now supposed to be case hits. I’ve heard of people pulling like 2-4 BPs a case now. Another weird part of this release for me. Flip flopping how rare rarities are this far in to a collection is just honestly crazy choice imo. I LOVE the new SP too, so it being so hard to get apparently is wild to me. I do not know how hard these hits are though tbh, haven’t heard from anybody that has broken a full master case yet

@@nathanielbinns3814 thanks, impossible to say. He does loads of Star Wars events but depends what guests who aren’t contractually obligated to attend will want to travel to Japan - I’m hoping we do get some more guest announcements soon!
I gotta say I really don’t feel this one too much. I’m gonna open my box once it arrives but I think the cards look way cheaper now and the design isn’t as sleek anymore (except for the SPs) I also don’t really like the swap to horizontal cards. I think they’re fine in special sets but I much prefer vertical cards and the classic TCG look for normal sets. Still excited to see what I pull but it’s definitely a step down from the OG tier 4 imo.
@@themightycarrotknight yeh I can get that, I really think they’re following suit with the rest of their sets having “scene cards” as the bulk & agree I prefer the OG sets and designs - I always enjoy opening new Naruto Kayou though so was happy to finally get this ☺️

@@muhammadsyawalbinahmad3662 it’s hard to know. The SE’s will likely always retain their value, everything else though I don’t see it. Since Kayou slowed down with their Naruto sets, all but a few of the tier exclusives dropped in price. Maybe the value slightly increases now with a new set, it’s kinda like supply and demand. If the product gets hot again, then the values will go up. If we get a new Naruto anime or something like that, again the cards may become hot and value increases but I’d say it’s semi warm at this stage as the new set hasn’t gone down as well as the previous ones. I generally do honestly believe if anyone is looking to make serious money and retain value etc… from Naruto Kayou though, it’s not the right card collection for that, even if they are being graded by PSA now. I could be, and hope I am wrong, but I don’t see it that way and don’t collect it for that anyhow.
Cards are fine, but please stop waffling on about toxic comments and some like this and that, really who cares mate, you can't please everyone. Everyone opening starts at 12:48
@@Nosuchthingasnormalhere already a chapter break in there mate as mentioned in literally the first 30 seconds of the video, if nobody cares to hear the fluff. Whenever I open up a new box, I always discuss in greater detail and then subsequent openings are pacier, again something I say in literally the first 45 secs of the video.
