Stunning Washington Rainbow Trout

My brother and I had a great August trip targeting rainbows on one of our favorite Washington Rivers. We decided to camp this time, which added a different but fun element to our adventure (until the thunderstorms showed up:). The fishing wasn't fantastic, but we got enough fish to keep us excited. That's one of our favorite things about this river is you have to work for the fish and you never know what you'll find around the next river bend. We lost some solid fish but got a few beauties in the net. Pretty sure it's unlawful to target bull trout in this system. Might want to change your video description and consider for future outings

Hey Masterofbombs...thanks for the comment. This is a great lesson for us all. You used to be able to target bulls in this area, but unbeknownst to me, they changed that regulation. You are right...that section does not allow it anymore (just checked)...just a few lower sections allow for it now. A good lesson for me and everyone else, always check the regs, as what was legal before may not be legal now. Thanks for making us aware and I'll make sure to check the regs more often.
