- Another old classic from the video archives and in this video we take a look at a quite unusual machine that was built by Paul Balsillie of Balco motorcycles. This bike is a Rickman frame kit that's had a 475 tuned BSA Victor motor put into the chassis.
Thanks Chris for showing us this awesome machine! We enjoyed the video! The green metal flake paint is also awesome!
Thanks James glad you enjoyed the video and I hope you enjoy further postings from CDBTV.
Another great video Sir, Thank you for your great coverage of the bikes you review.
Hi crash11049 Thank’s for your comments and for watching my content and look out for more old classics coming soon to my CDBTV channel.
The frames a work of Art 👌🏻 and the mods on the old Beeza has turned the motor into something quite exotic internally 😎👌🏻…. On the Fins, I was told back in the 70’s by a few older guys, apart from aesthetics , cutting the fins back reduced the amount of mud accumulated, and easy to poke the grass and mud out between races, a regular chore with my piece of dowl on my Maico and Kawasaki , I never had the bottle to start drilling or cutting any of my fins though 😁
Thanks Chris , great four stroke bike , I love this , good video , your fan henri put belgium 🇧🇪
Wow, stunning bike 👌
I only had a chance to ride a Rickman one time......don't remember the engine but the frame was memorable in a few ways: it handled beautifully, very competent, the plated frame was, again, beautiful and, with a nod of the head, the bike fell into corners without any effort. Incidentally, the throttle housing is a Magura that's had a bit of machining. P.S. Will nickel plating the frame lead to hydrogen embrittlement like chrome coating? If my memory serves me correct Steve McQueen had a Rickman much like this but blue.
