As a late 70s early 80s trials rider this really took me back. A little disappointed there were no Ossa or Montessas. You did show my first Honda thou. Thanks again for the memories.

Always liked the business look of a trials bike.

What an excellent video. Great job you have done. My favourite bikes have to be the Majesty’s but you gotta love what people do with the humble Bantam these days.

My favourite bike was.................Bultaco, then Bultaco and also Bultaco LOL!! I just love them all, but as an old Bultaco Sherpa 350 rider I do show a little bias, don't think that came across though!!!!

I really enjoyed this, thank you. Too many lovely bikes to have a favourite. I owned a BSA C15 (road bike) back in the 60s, so a C15 always quickens the pulse! Had a couple of Bantams too (maybe three), so although not a 2-stroke fan I have a soft spot for the Bezza Bantam. If I had to choose one, it would probably be the Triumph twin. They just sound so lovely. My only Triumph was a TRW, so not so much snap and crackle there! Happy enough with my Serow now. Love that bike. Les in Chester

Fave bike, my 325cc Bultaco Sherpa, circa 1978 - got stolen, however. Rode a Fantic 160cc in the 1981 SSDT - that was on a par with the Sherpa.

Love the trials porn. I'm not a trials rider and at 70 I guess it's a bit too late to start, but looking at the workmanship on some of these bikes they would not be out of place in a museum or someone's living room. As an official old fart (see above) I would like to see a bit more of the older 4 stroke bikes, but then I'm not sure if they would appeal to all. Great camera work and editing. Keep up the good work - I'll be watching.

Great stuff. Nerdy question, but I'd be interested to know what camera/video you're using? Very smooth zooming in and close up work. Looking forward to future stuff from you.

Thanks Nigel. It's a Sony Camcorder. FDR AX53. We have one at work so I bought one myself as I'm familiar with the controls and know the quality is good. Love your videos of the trials btw. Plans for more videos I had to put on hold, but hope to get going soon.

@@trialsworkshop2584 Crikey, some mutual admiration going on here. Like me then, you got familiar with a particular camera, so stayed with it. I think 4K must play a considerable part in the quality in yours. I'm doubtful though it helps with what I do , shooting moving subjects (with fps rates being important), but I've recently been doing 'pit walkarounds' capturing old classics etc before the events start, so think I'll need to make the 4K jump soon, so will certainly consider the Sony you use as it's not too expensive (I always have to factor tripping/falling and dropping and damaging an expensive camera at trials meetings so stay away from big budget stuff... plus I'm a tight bugger).
