The Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus is likely the current Android champ but no smartphone is perfect... In this review I aim to show you the good, the bad and the ugly when it comes to the Samsung Galaxy S8. The goal with this review is to give you as much information as possible.
This review should apply to both the Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus as I'm referencing both throughout. The Only difference between the S8 and S8 Plus is screen size and battery size.

I've had it since April and the phone is awesome and the fingerprint scanner is at an ok location and I have never touched the camera. I'll be switching to the note 9 when the black friday comes ( I'm from greece )

Why do so many people watch these videos if they don't like his reviews
I actually have s8 since last month and i really enjoy it, its big, right but the fingerprint button is such a nerving thing for me cuz sometimes it works properly and sometimes not, and it has a bad spot so thats - for me.
But display is just wow, cant say more because display is godly level and its so beautiful.
Up to camera, its sharp and really great in making normal photos or selfies so im amazed.
But the worst thing is the durability when dropped, its so thin glass you need to watch out for it, it can crash really easy so hold it tight in your hands and dont let to drop this phone.
This is my first samsung in my life because i have mostly used sony xperia phones and thats my first flagship phone too, after i started my work career i was able to purchase one s8 too and until now im really happy with this phone.
I rate this phone 9/10 because the only one - is the fingerprint button. If you want this phone, then buy it cuz its worth it.
Well I've owned one since September,And I've actually no issues with the fingerprint scanner. And the position of it imo is actually good.

hannahtriz pretty good. It lasts a full day for me so I'm pretty happy with it.

you shouldnt ask help about this. Phones are extremely different from person to person. Find one you really like and purchase it. Choose from pools of phones within your budget and pick your favorite features from that.
I have a google pixel and really like it. But I also like iPhones, samsung and many other devices.
The S7 just dropped in price btw and is almost the same thing as the S8. Just badder. It's still considered an almost flawless phone though. I got it recently and it's pretty great. Especially with Nougat. Try it if you don't want to pay as much for the S8. It's pretty expensive and I won't be getting it unless there's some deal.

i love the s8, my first hand experience for this was remarkable. very light thin and fast. your whole hand embeds the phone. its really a great phone. i do recommend this, a must buy phone.
You dont have to reach up to get the notification panel anymore you can just swipe down on the fingerprint sensor..

Hey, I thought the video was very good and gave a well rounded opinion. The only problem I have as a viewer and subscriber of your channel is that you and every other tech TH-camr aren't giving the Bixby assistant a chance. I believe the point of the video was to review the phone in it's entirety. I want to know more about Bixby assistant and see if it may actually be more useful to me based on how I use my phone. Nonetheless, this was still a great video and I will keep watching.

bixby actually won't be available until the launch later this month. that's why no one has been talking about bc it hasn't launched yet. everyone has been "reviewing" preretail S8s.
Terry Robinson so far i believe bixby does almost everything the same as Google assistant (also available on the phone) but i think Samsung will update bixby to be much different maybe even way better than Google assistant.

Yes but then you shouldn't deem Bixby not useful until the retail version of the phone is released and have actually tried it out.
The great thing about getting a phone like this many months later is that things like Bixby already have a way of disabling them 😁

As a superhero in training, I fully endorse this device. When my Galaxy S2 died on me last week, I was scared to move on. We had some good times together, however this is looking to be a suitable replacement. Preciate' the review, pal.

Dont get me wrong apple is great im an apple guy myself but samsung has always had better hardware in their lower gens, such as their cameras, ram, screen quality, upgradable storage and dual sims.

One of the biggest things I've done to improve my note 4, s7, and s8 experience is to enable the developer settings and turn the animation settings to .5x which makes opening apps quicker since the animation takes half as long. It feels so much snappier and I reccomend it to everyone

the hippocrip it's looking to be the best flagship for this time. could be a bit better to wait for s9/note 8 for them to smooth out many of these "problems (better fingerprint scanner, dual or imported camera, better battery) however that involves waiting and these problems aren't that bad
the hippocrip Samsung phones have generally the least SAR value ( Google it) among all the flagships. So, get S7(Still good buy) or S8 if you care for your health!

I have a Galaxy S7 Edge, the simple answer is that they just use the top and bottom bezels of the display to not fall off.

TC: GameInfusion samsung put the fingerprint scanner on the back which then took the space from a dual camera setup, dual cameras would have happened if there wouldn't have been any issues in the on screen fingerprint scanner manufacturing
Onely one Samsung could have easily put the fingerprint scanner underneath the camera to allow room for a dual camera.
