Therefore, the damage of the shard cannon was reduced by 20%.
I noticed that a NHS [Threat 4] has two chances to pop an Orthrus when CMDR's ship is dropped and when the Thargoid Probe(Sensor?) is destroyed.
By making sure to destroy the probes, it reduce the probability of the signal being empty, create a chance to take down two Orthrus, and thus increase the efficiency of defeating.
By the way, the use of heat sinks was an operational error, not because it was necessary.
