Hi Sarah, this one is hard to find! We are thinking of keeping some of these in stock on our website but for now here is the best place to find one: www.carolina.com/catalog/detail.jsp?prodId=653325&scid=scplp653325&sc_intid=653325&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI5pvC7I3W5gIV4oNaBR0GuQTlEAQYAyABEgLilvD_BwE All the best! - FireflySci
@@shegwin the normal 10mL test tube should fit right into the machine without the holder. The special holder that we got for this is to fit standard 10mm cuvettes into the older, larger original sample chamber o the old Spectronic 20D. We'll be stocking this shortly. Thanks for your support! -FireflySci
@@shegwin Hi Shegwin, this one is a little outside our wheelhouse. Might want to check with the manufacturer on this. Could be a lot of things including a lamp being needed to be replaced. All the best -FireflySci
The left button must be to adjust the dark signal to 0% transmitance. A black cuvette must be use at this step. After that, the black signal must be ajusted to 100% transmitance or 0.000 absorbance. These steps could solve the problem.
Thank god you posted this. Where did you get that cuvette holder?

Thanks so much, do you think a normal 10mL test tube works okay?

Firefly Sci thank you. I tested a few samples and double checked with my other spec. Mine seems to be slightly off. How do you fix the drift?
