Thanks for half of the live coverage of the "last two groups in the Good Good Desert Open". I guess the other content creators, who have no doubt attended at their own expense (certainly sacrificing their schedules at least), were thrilled with their zero live coverage. The Grant/Garrett/Micah/Bryan Bros love-in was cool, glad we got to see every second of it 😒
You realize every one of them likely had their own cameras going. They'll all post content from this soon I'm sure. Making their own money and getting their own views.
@morantrent67 and you also realise this was billed as a live event, on one of the top 3 golf channels on YT? The exposure of the event is what they were going for, not to give replays to their existing audience.
@ThatDrivingBeatLeeds it's the good good desert open... their name is on it. You're foolish if you thought for one second they'd just be giving mad airtime to a bunch of dudes who are allowed to film their own content and then distribute that for only their personal benefit, on GGs name and dime nonetheless. That's just nonsense.
@morantrent67 of course. I'm fully aware of that, and gave commented as such on many threads in the build up. GG were doing this entirely for themselves; a "be there or be square" type event. Wish that it would be streamed on YT as well while it was streamed on Peacock. Sucks for us outside US to not be able to see it all. Was so hype to watch the first part, so that was a bummer, but overall great event.
You guys dropped the ball. Your fan base is international as well. Couldn’t watch any of the footage when you switched over to peacock. They don’t have service outside US.
Yup, watched it half way through, then Peacock logo for the rest of the video. Understand they helped pull it all together, but should have called that out early so we knew not to bother watching when we couldn’t see the end. Also, true to form for NBC golf, don’t see much of 75% of the field, so hoping for so much more coverage across everyone.
I said this when it was announced, they have sold out to the very reason we watch TH-cam, peacock are then broadcasters of the PGA, it will just give the PGA fans even more opportunity to slag off TH-cam creators. The quality, production & commentary were all top notch. Amazing tournament and glad I was able to tune in. Congrats to the winners but at the end of the day, all of y’all are winners! GG much love
Good good is the best thing to happen to golf for the newer golfers!!!!
I enjoyed watching this more then any pga event! This is definitely the future of golf and you guys are the originators.
Omg, the announcers and especially Francis were amazing! :D
This was a phenomenal production. Professional, great commentary and great golf!
No showing of Peter Finch at all bearing in mind he has one of the most sunscribed golf YT channel...
Totally agree. May as well just had a 12 man knockout. Least he didn’t travel far or anything like that. 👀
Not to mention how far he travelled to play in it. I bet Rick Shiels is glad he couldn't make it.
@JimN109 the rest of the tournament footage is going to be uploaded to the main Good Good channel starting today. They mentioned this multiple times during the live broadcast.
And if you think Finch got screwed and isn't going to upload content from this event to his own channel, then I have a bridge to sell you.
@@someguy3414 it was sold as a live event. When you watch something live, you don’t expect to have to wait a day to see the conclusion.
Nobody said Pete won’t get any footage out of it. Of course he will. But again, live event.
Major Ls.... too many ppl out here kisses asses.
Amazing job all of you, including the people behind the scenes. Tyvm
As someone else posted...be nice to see full leaderboard.
And all the teams! Some got no airtime at all
Thoroughly enjoyable to watch and to listen to. Great golf friends, super commentary, more please.
Awesome to watch this live gents, now for the second half 🎉🎉 bring it on tomorrow
THIS GOLF EVENT WAS EPIC ON MANY LEVELS ! 10 mins in, I wanted to Scramble this w Bro of mine. Just booked. GC Scramble main focus, but added TPC Stadium! Thx for inspiring & sharing this course. Looking forward to Golf under the lights. After matching your yardages against scorecard, I see you guys had a special course setup. Night Golf setup is All Par-3's, oof, we could use Par-4s
This could have been Bro 5 like 8 years ago 🤣🤣 But historic for the whole TH-cam community, cannot wait to see them do it again and only get better with production in the process
nah to hell with Brodie Smith. He was too old for the group anyways and now he is throwing a frisbee into a pole somewhere in the middle of the woods being as irrelevant as hell
Yeah Francis is a true class act, I especially liked the part where he was talking about a bad round he shot and he said people thought he was a "Make a Wish Kid" between that and Griggs commentating loudly on the tee box when the golfers were teeing off made this especially enjoyable. I'm sure Wesley Bryan loved it on 12 when they had to have a good shot Griggs kept talking away. OUTSTANDING FELLAS JUST OUTSTANDING!
Big fan here, but a bit surprised that the contest was not finished before signing off. Would have liked to see the end with having to switch computer venues (which I didn't do so no clue how this ended).
Best event ever! Loved every minute of it. Keep reaching for the sky boys! Appreciate you!
Awesome, congratulations Good Good. Keep growing
i absolutly love this production, such an amazing quality i feel like im watching the masters with commentators and the broadcast so so good keep up the good work guys well done please do this again
10 seconds with Francis speaking and I'm loving it already!
I've been watching this channel since 2019 BC (Before Covid). It's unbelievable how the channel has grown. Besides the quality of content, I am impressed at how this success hasn't gone to the heads of the members. I think you are having as great of an impact on golf as did Tiger years ago.
Just finished watching The Desert Open. Here are my scores:
The event: A+
The fans: A+
The venue: A+
The energy: A+
The commercials: A+
Good Good exposure: A+
The weather: C
Barstool Announcers: Riggs (C)
Frances (D)
Would rather see Bob Does Sports for the June Event
Who won pal
based off the comments I've seen so far, we might get some hate for not liking the horrible announcers.
You got no humor at all, Frances was top Aces all the way thru and Riggs where not far behind that !
@@kristoffernilsson6043 everyone has there own opinions on what is funny.
Commentator hit the nail on the head, with a lot of negativity in golf, this is by far the most positive thing that has happened in the last few months!
I’m happy to see the comments a lot nicer then the live chat
I love seeing Kruper getting his recognition, in all truth I would love to watch him on tour one day.
Francis in the beginning had me dead 💀 😂
this whole idea, production, execution, was top tier. wow. nbc. this is legit. props!
Loved the live event gutted tho as Im in Australia so couldnt watch the whole event live😢
What a great tournament big shout out to all who played in this event and good good for organising it
Loved it! What great exposure for TH-cam golf to be on Peacock! Francis had me dying 😂😂
Peacock loses over 90% of the audience as they can’t access it, so no. This event was a disaster….
@@Pud56your moms a disaster
The production on this is absolutely insane!!
What an event, this is a massive step up in the Golf YT space.
Congrats to all involved this was so clean 👌🏼
That fmk chat had me rolling! I love that this event was so big and these guys made it so entertaining. Love you Steve you are loved
Loved the announcers what a great job! Funny! Had me in fits with some of the comments.. so so funny... great production all round congrats team
Hated the commentary guys! They didn't know anything about the players and made lame TV jokes and only had bland facts on these guys! TH-cam golf content was made magic by the players and they way they talked and played and these morons in the mics ruined that magic that made each channel great!
@@getovryourslf4444couldn't stand them myself. I love all the good good golf guys...ESPECIALLY Stephen!
Unbelievable guys! What an event
Well done 👍🏻
I’d like to see ALL of the SCORES!!!!
FP / Joey D won
@@Jordan_Weingradactually
Wow. Incredible boys, living the dream. Massive congratulations GG.
“I laid there like Jesus Christ until they peeled me off the green.” 😂😂😂. 1:46:00
This was huge for the game of golf. The Golf Channel posted the highlights. This exposed TH-cam golf to a lot of people and I can see so many of these channels growing by hundreds of thousands in the coming months. Now if NBC would would get Peacock channels on the cable and streaming services including a few dedicated sports channels, this could be a big big deal for young golfers and golf fans of all ages. Congratulations to Ashton and Ben. And congratulations to Good Good for making this happen.
They should have made it available fully on yt in regions that don’t have peacock
They're posting a full recap tomorrow. Will probably be a 2+ hour video knowing these guys
Cry more
@@ChappyDappyDooif you follow a group and they do something “groundbreaking”, I think you have the right to gripe if the people you follow, put money in their pocket doesn’t make something available to everyone…. Especially not on TH-cam, aka the company that made them famous.
I thought that’s what they want to do?
@@ChappyDappyDoo Stay classy pal 👌
Congratulations! Good good did it again! Keep it going! 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
It's just clearer now though to ALL the viewing audience that this was never a creator event. Clever marketing and hoodwinking many
This is wildly cool. Just a few years ago, a group of guys + a dream = GOOD GOOD OPEN- brought to you by Galaxy Golf and covered by NBC Sports! Truly amazing.
Better late than never, almost 9am here in UK😴
100K is nuts! Only up from here boys! Keep working on it!!
Pause king for the win
Such a good production here! Bravo 🎉
Where’s the rest of it ? Original link said 4 hours, this ends after 2?
The reason why i kept learning and not giving up on golf......mad proud fan from singapore
The announcers on Peacock were Gold!!!
Golden turd, sfb is my take. The live chat is the true response.
Barring the majors....this is way way then better most pro events to watch. Brilliant stuff!
I got to agree with Buddy there. It's kind of crazy to watch. These guys grow on TH-cam this whole time and then not be able to watch the tournament live on TH-cam
I cannot express how happy I am to see some sticks and stumps again.
Quality production Boyz!
The production of this was amazing and the commentary was pretty funny lol. Good job boys!
Show us Peter Finch & Trottie!!!
Exactly. Imagine organising this and inviting someone from UK, with the most YT experience, and not even showing him. Shambles.
Exactly , at one stage they had the best score going with 3 under after 4 when others , who got a mention , where 1 under after 10 . It was typical yahoo , high five US celebrity golf , will not be wasting any more time with it. Its obvious why the US love LIV.
@@brianneary2329 Couldn’t agree more. Why put Pete on when we can watch Steve screw one out of bounds again.😂😂
then to not interview him at the end, but interview these barstool clowns like they did something to build Golf YT. Trash
Wish that it would be streamed on YT as well while it was streamed on Peacock. Sucks for us outside US to not be able to see it all. Was so hype to watch the first part, so that was a bummer, but overall great event.
Like everything... its American first in ignorance and fuck everyone else... but hey international ppl... buy our merch....
Agreed, even now, trying to watch it after the fact in europe is impossible.
I’m in New Zealand and can’t watch the second half of this, where can I stream it in New Zealand?
commentators were great and the open was pure class
You guys dropped the ball. Your fan base is international as well. Couldn’t watch any of the footage when you switched over to peacock. They don’t have service outside US.
Agree sucked ass… Tried watching fr Sweden
Yup, watched it half way through, then Peacock logo for the rest of the video.
Understand they helped pull it all together, but should have called that out early so we knew not to bother watching when we couldn’t see the end.
Also, true to form for NBC golf, don’t see much of 75% of the field, so hoping for so much more coverage across everyone.
Who won
I said this when it was announced, they have sold out to the very reason we watch TH-cam, peacock are then broadcasters of the PGA, it will just give the PGA fans even more opportunity to slag off TH-cam creators. The concept of the event is great, venue sucks, peacock sucks so as you say “missed a trick”
Yes wtf 😢. Was enjoying that. Oh well
Frances at 54:45 lolololol Absolut great on course analysis.
Didn’t see Peter finch once lol
It's cool to see the stuff like this being broadcasted. Y'all are really helping grow the game. I've been playing golf for 24 years and a lot of this stuff reminds me of the games we'd play at golf practice. Nothing but vibes.
You guys did all these other creators dirty 😅 send them all the way to Arizona to never show any of them on the broadcast
Right? Some I don’t think got shown at all , others like bustajack maybe 1 putt. I don’t even remember seeing Bubbie ? Guess they went with PGA style , just show featured group and the best overall shots . Others must’ve had no great shots is all I can think of .
@@agentate3814 I’m not buying the “no great shots” lol finch and trottie for instance finished near the top… did not see either of them one single time. They must’ve hit some good ones to get all those birdies. Apparently Ryan Sheckler was on a team? Never saw em!
You know I almost payed 5.99 to watch it but I saw people saying it wasn’t working. So I made the smart choice of going to sleep and now I’m watching for free hahaha
Goodgood live 💪🏼💪🏼 this needs to be a regular comp!
need a youtube golf tour with like 3-4 tournaments a year. this is awesome and great for the game
