    It’s more like an Alsatian architecture. Other villages from Alsace have this architecture style. It’s not just Colmar. Each region of France have his own architecture style.

    Hi Chantelle, your vlogs give me a longing for all those charming places in Switzerland & France...thanks so much! Seeing as we the same taste in destinations, I saw a vlog about Chamonix, France & thought of you & your lovely girls. My blessings to you all.

    Found it fascinating to see the mix of French and German styles in the architecture. And the crepe sure doesn't look like what I eat in the States!

    • @GrowingUpWithoutBorders
      @GrowingUpWithoutBorders  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes this town has the most amazing architecture. We love the crepes in France and have mastered making them ourselves too!

    I Loved Colmar! So so pretty! I had Le pain d'epices! Did you try that? Delicious! Another fun video that captured how cute and cool this place is. And that crepe looks so good!

      It is such a charming little city. We did have le pain d’épices around Christmas time and it’s so good. The French crepes are the best! We make it once a week when we’re home.

    If you are a european citizen already would it be possible to find a place to live in colmar? As an artist this town or city seems like the most beautiful place to live in. Also would you know anthing on the living expenses there?

      Hi, thanks for the lovely comment!
      We’re still just getting started so please feel free to share with your friends.
      We posted nice videos on Yvoire and Annecy. These are 2 really nice little towns to visit.
      Aix-en-Provence is really nice too but we still have yet to make a video on this one. Pretty much any small town in Europe is amazing!

    Is it safe in Colmar?

    • @GrowingUpWithoutBorders
      @GrowingUpWithoutBorders  6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes it’s very safe and has a small town feel. I know since there have been so many attacks that people are worried to come to Europe but in general there’s no need to worry.

      no its extremely unsafe, tourists are decapitated immediately upon entry inside the town limits

  • @kevhynaleks2631

    There is no single frennch architecture here, this is a pure german town, nothing to do with France....Shame of history they put to France..

    • @GrowingUpWithoutBorders
      @GrowingUpWithoutBorders  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      What about the colourful buildings? I'm not sure that very German...

    • @Misterjingle
      @Misterjingle 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Actually, the timber frame architecture can be found everywhere in France. Just look at Rouen in Normandy or Tours in Loire Valley...Plus, France is a patchwork of culture, each region has its own architecture. Hard to define something as "French Architecture."
