Thanks for watching this one ya'll! And big shout out to Nick Dean, Braxton Tomlinson and Stu Cram from DJI for helping make this one happen! Let me know if you have any Q&A and I can make a follow up video
Speechless.... You always have a knack of choosing great subjects - this was for me one of the most emotional ... The filming & capture of the inner journey, and the ride in the dessert was epic...
hey mark can you please make a video on how you did that transition on that 3.29 shot. it's a great story and so well expressed in videos, voice, edit and music! Well done . i have a hypothetical question for you if you have to restart your documentary journey from scratch what camera gear would you pick with a 1000$ budget .
Would you possibly be able to reflect on the focal lengths used in a few scenes where maybe it wasn’t the standard length most people would gravitate towards, but helped tell the story the way you envisioned?
Mark thanks for capturing this story! I really am inspired. Love from India.
Wicked film mark and team! Would be good to know how you managed to capture great audio throughout and maintain focus with the gimbal working as a cinematographer and director at the same time - it all looks so seamless.
This was incredible. I love Mark Bone. If you ever run with Mark, be ready to be out of breath and sweaty and re-think running entirely.
Love you so much
I love that you’re releasing content that isn’t only how to based but actual documentaries
Film making is still alive because of these kind of films.. 🙏
Great job! Time flew by watching this.
What a journey. What a gorgeous film.
Not much else can be said about this film except amazing! Braxton will keep the memory of Tanner alive through riding. Tanners family will always know the legend he will always be.

a perfect combination of vivid story telling and incredible cinematography
Emotions aside, as it's an incredible story, the choices made when it comes to directing and cinematography in this documentary are ridiculously good.
When you practice what you preach. Everything you share with us we see in your work. 🔥
This is great. I feel like you’re one of the only people who talks about how to make videos then actually goes out and makes videos yourself. And, those videos represent a high standard that reflects the value of what you’re teaching.
4:51 - 4:59 WOW what a shot holy smokes, floored me, the movement and framing is beautiful cinematography in those 8 seconds
True, 🖐
I love how the dirt bikes have their own voice throughout this film… as if they were speaking for Tanner. Amazing work!!
cinematography and colouring really stole me on this one. And the drone work ! The evocative feelings that Braxton shared also were so real. Really well done.

Mark, once again, you've shown what it takes to be a true cinematographer. When TH-cam is full of influencers claiming to be "cinematic" content creators - yours and your team's work just showed the true artistry of when great storytelling, beautiful picture work and the emotive relationship of sound are brought together! So inspiring ❤

As a dirt bike rider and a videographer, this is some of the best footage I’ve ever seen. Along with a beautiful story, this is fucking mind blowing Mark.
The story arc could have been a little more drawn out and dramatic, but it is made up for by the footage!
