You are 100% correct at 2:21 when you said that people aren't driving the cars the way they are ment to be driven, I own 4 FG's ranging from N/A's to Turbo and all 4 have had no serious problems, never needed new diff bushes or anything else major, for comparison all 4 cars still have their original inside door leavers because I'm easy on the cars and don't flog them when I drive them and I drive them how their ment to be driven, it's only natural if you flog any car stuff will brake
I would also very strongly recommend upgrading the front brake rotors size from N/A 298mm to turbo spec 322mm. You only need to buy bigger calliper carriers to fit the larger rotors. Seemed to work really well, got more responsive brake feel with larger surface area. And it looks a lot better behind the wheel spokes, too.
On the "cool" side of mods. I replaced the oem rear diffuser for those black aftermarket eBay ones as well as bought XR6 door scuff plates for my dad's FG MKii XR6 Limited Edition and man, even subtle changes like that really made the car look better.
As a p plate driver im testing the waters for the rest of em 😂 im spending 3k on a built na barra with 10.4-1 comp, cams, rings, bearings, and a manual conversion for fun and to get rid of that pesky power robbing btr😂
I remember buying one of those open Streetfighter CAI's for my FG way back when I was a P plater and being so excited to install it, only to be left bitterly-disappointed by how hard it dropped the power output and responsiveness. I had the stock intake back on the very next day after doing a good 1000km, and the car felt like a missile in comparison. P platers need to learn the hard way. Sounded good at least.
I never would have bought the ss inductions growler intake for the 7 or 800 dollar they charge but I found one on marketplace and got it for 135. I know theres no power gains but goddamn it sounds nice
That’s an excellent question, I’ve actually been looking into this recently. Jared (check the Barra build videos) can weld, so he and I are probably going to try reinforcing the mount points. I’ll be making a video about it if I do it.
N/A falcon all you need is lowered springs, 20 to 21 inch rims depending on your state and the conditions of your roads, LSDs for those late night skids
Track is the track! Street is the street! Its a road remember!! Fast on the public road?? Sounds like a child mindset to me! Maybe grow up and leave your EGO at home!

Yeah it’s a great upgrade to do, I even have a video how to do it. Cheap, easy and has a direct improvement on performance.

Now this is a video and explanation I agree with!!

I think you have still exceeded the book value of the typical NA FG in you mods list!
That’s true, just a good LSD setup would be almost half the cost of the daily FG I bought this year
Those Torsen LSD’s are unreal a lot better then the ones worth double the cost

It certainly sounds good having more intake noise

Hey i was wondering if anyone had any tips or idea on how to reinforce the sway bay mounting points
That’s an excellent question, I’ve actually been looking into this recently.

What should I do in the rear of a fg Ute suspension wise i want to do coil overs in the front but the rear has leaf springs
Just do coil overs, lsd and manual conversion honestly. All you need for an na
Turbo is worth it,just not lowered ,lifted,,,,,lifted
english
i want it all
