Best iPhone ever made. I have an 11 Pro Max in Midnight Green with 94 percent battery on iOS 18 that I paid $300 for and it is absolutely incredible. No iPhone feels better in hand.
I so agree. I've had my 11 PM since it came out and it still works great. Just bought the 16 pro max and cannot get used to how thick it is compared to the 11. I"m not sure I'll keep the 16.
my 11 pro max just came in yesterday and i’m so excited to get it set up ! i never really cared for the 12 and up iphones they look too chunky for me beautiful colors tho
I do like the camera better on the 11 pro series then on the 13 pro series and newer because it doesn’t do that filter thing where it makes skin tones darker or darkens any photo
@@nanakwajo7292 same. I was thinking about downgrading to the 11 pro max from my 13 pro max because I don’t like the image processing on these newer models. I don’t trust that it’s going to get a good photo.
I’m downgrading to the iPhone 11 Pro Max from my 13 pro max because of this and the accidental screen touches I get all the time. I do like it more because it’s more comfortable to hold and the old feeling when these phones first came out.
I bought the 11 pro max when it came out and it still runs like brand new. Even the battery is holding up all day still being at 92% of capacity. I have 0 incentive to upgrade at the moment. Waiting for a much better upgrade than the 16.
I'd appreciate a consideration of the value of iOS updates. The features seem to be heading towards a subscription based model because the phones themselves remain functional for so long and people just aren't updating so frequently. My 13pm remains on iOS 15. No intention of updating as long as my apps are usable. I think the iOS update is overstated.
I will do that the next time I change my iPhone, keep it on its original OS. I'm struggling a little bit on the latest iOS 17.5.1 with the battery on the 13 Pro Max and every year magically batteries starts lasting less when a new iPhone is around the corner.
Curious. This isn’t anything I have ever thought of before. Updating the software just seems to be my default behaviour, admittedly without consider considering why I’m doing so. Why have you chosen to remain on iOS 15? What would you consider the drawbacks of updating to the latest software?
@@BearGryllsSpoofs it was mine until I started noticing the pattern, had to change my 11 Pro because the battery just wasn’t as good anymore (not talking about it % life) the same with an iPhone X, then an 6s, 5s and so on. @@BearGryllsSpoofs Mainly, I think, because of the way iOS updates slowed down my phones, particularly the 4s. Also my requirements have plateaued; great screens & cameras, good battery & storage. Honestly, phones have reached a point where the hardware is so good that, for most people, it's more about battery life and update support than any real performance differences. My iPhone 12 Pro Max is still performing like it did when I first bought it, no noticeable slowdown with new updates, the storage is more than enough, and the camera quality is still impressive. It's amazing how well it's held up, and it just works. But I know that eventually, when updates stop coming or the battery can no longer keep up, that's when I'll have to consider replacing it. As long as Apple keeps supporting it, though, I don’t see any reason to upgrade.
My iPhone 11 pro is now sitting on 70% health , 3-4 hours on screen time on average , I compare it with my wife's 14 pro and I don't see any real difference. I have decided to put on a battery case to ease out the battery anxiety and i think I ll get through 1-2 more years. It is a real solid phone and hats off to apple to keep the phone running smoothly most of the time after 5 years . On the other hand I would say that's not the case for Android flagships anymore , I also own a galaxy note 10+ same 2019 model and it is same story , runs buttery smooth like the iPhone but with no software support. I think the year to year phone upgrades for almost all smartphones is a thing of the past .
I still think maybe 3 more years as IOS 19 will more likely a stability update not a major update. So I guess Iphone XR, XS, XS Max and so does Iphone 11 series from 11 to 11 pro Max.
i’ve had to fall back on an iPhone 7 the last few weeks cause i was on a trip and couldn’t get anything after my last broke.. I’m running iOS 15 and have had NO problems with any apps I’d like to use lol.. I reckon the 11 still has a few years

The resale value of iphones is much higher compared to android for this reason; android has a wide competition like samsung, oppo, vivo, etc. and they have the same operating system which is run by android, unlike iphones they have ios and they don’t share it with other manufacturers, and as well as all iphones are released as flagships, consider the build, the quality, and the longevity of support, all of which comes down as to how relevant iphones are in the market despite their age.
