OK, so the title & graphic are inaccurate, but this is one of my favourite albums. Well actually 2nd half is. It's a 1989 album of a 1977 live recording in Chicago. On vinyl, side A was Albert King (4 songs) and side B was John Lee Hooker (5 songs). While Albert King is good, it's the John Lee Hooker set that does it for me. Raw, live, gritty, juicy, dirty. The album is actually called "I'll Play the Blues for You".
1st two bluesmen I ever heard was Albert King, and Freddie King- coincidence? I think God just decided to blow that 13 yr old mind of mine.
One of the greatest unique bluesman that ever lived on planet earth 🎸
The voice itself pure medicine
Top notch 💯💯💯👈
This makes me think ,that I LOVE
2022 al día tocando con el más grueso gracias por tu música albertooooo

It is NOT the Albert King' Album "I'll Play The Blues For You"! WTF?!
I noticed that too. Do you know which one this is in actuality?
Fine Blues-stuff. But the Artist on Track 5 - 9 is John Lee Hooker
Albert King keeps me cool.
this is NOT I'll Play The Blues For You, but some kind of compilation...(
This is NICE!!!
👍👍👍👍👍
Albert King > BB King
I agree. BB King was good in certain resects but I think he was overrated. Albert King and Freddie King were better.
