Operation Danube The 103rd Airborne Division participated in Operation Danube, the Warsaw Pact invasion of Czechoslovakia that would end the Prague Spring. On the night of August 20, an Aeroflot Antonov An-24 made an unscheduled landing at Ruzyně Airport, and shortly before dawn another plane did the same. At the same time as Warsaw Pact troops crossed the Czechoslovak border in the early hours of August 20, several Spetsnaz GRU dressed in civilian clothes took control of the airport. At 2:00 and escorted by MiG-21 fighters, two Antonov An-12 with 180 VDV soldiers landed and secured the airport. Once this was done, five An-12 squadrons landed at the airport to disembark troops, armored transports and ASU-85 guns. The latter were used to besiege the presidential palace in Prague.
US may have given ATACAMS but Ukraine is handcuffed. I believe that Ukraine isn't free to use them anywhere. I'm sure that the US has to sign off on every single missile they want to use whether it's within Ukraine or not.
