    Thanks, Christian. I feel this video is not only helping pronunciation, but helping spelling. I did't know that 'Ch' present "Ch" sound,as we learn international phonetic. I got a question, if I want to learn more about this stuff, could you recommend a book or website? Thanks again, and Its a really fantastic channel !

      Hi Ying! I'm not really sure about books or websites to help with phonetics, sorry! I think it's a case of using a lot of different resources like I do when I'm writing my classes. Sorry I couldn't help more!

    I have a question, are you from UK or from Australia? I thought you were from Australia because of the canguro logo but those england flags at the background really makes me doubt haha and I'm still a learner, a beginner into this language so my ear still doesn't identify or difference this both strong accents (as australian and england english are) yet!
    Hope this comment is grammatically correct at least haha, thank you a lot for all your videos and also thanks to the pals that contest my comments, really appreaciate.

    In French "W" is pronounced "double V" not "double U". What I know is that in Latin we can't make the différenciation between a U and a V because it was written like a "V" all the time in the antic inscriptions. Tell me more about this point if you know more. Very interesting lesson as usual! Keep going, well done, best regards from France.

    • @Canguroenglish
      @Canguroenglish  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, originally there was no difference between the 'u' and the 'v'. You can find more information about Old English here: www.omniglot.com/writing/oldenglish.htm
