KABAKA ALBUM LAUNCH (ABIALAM) FULL VIDEO COVERAGE

Seventeen years since his 2006 tribute to Sir Warrior, "Madu bu aja" ("We are Sand"), Kabaka G Opara made a grand return with "Abialam," spearheaded by Derda Promotions. This album aims to rejuvenate the Highlife genre and transcend the controversies that ensued from the Oriental Brothers' split and subsequent member losses. "Abialam," meaning "I have returned," takes listeners on a mesmerizing musical journey that transcends time and space, exploring emotions, culture, and life experiences. This album encapsulates the essence of the Oriental Brothers' artistry, seamlessly blending pure Highlife with Bongo rhythms, narrating life's intricate dance of ups and downs, wealth, and love. It showcases their ability to fuse traditional elements with modern influences, creating a harmonious blend that appeals to diverse audiences.
To commemorate the launch, a special pre-listening event was held at the renowned Art Nouveau Center in Owerri on the 15th of September, 2023.
