This is the Official channel of the Legendary Godwin Kabaka Opara popularly known as the famous Kabaka of Oriental Brothers International Band and Kabaka International Guitar Band.

Kabaka founded The Oriental Brothers International Band's, a Highlife bastion based in Owerri. in the 1970's
Their band comprised Godwin "Kabaka" Opara (rhythm guitarist, songwriter, and leader), Chief Christogonus "Dr. Sir Warrior" Ezewuiro, Obinna (vocalist), Ferdinand "DanSatch" Chukwuemeka Opara (Backup Singer), Livinus Akwilla Alaribe (Conga player), and Fred "Ichita" Ahumaraeze (drummer).
Their debut was marked by "Uwa Atualamujo/ Ihe Chinyere," recorded in 1973. However, their 1974 eponymous album elevated them to legendary status, particularly "Ihe Oma."

Kabaka's genius was evident in the inaugural album, masterfully intertwining rhythm and lead on a singular guitar.
