I like how the creators didn't make Alfie into a douchebag. He's actually a decent guy without any major flaws. Which to women is a green flag. Which in the natural order of things, turns Emily away.
This show nails the realities of a good guy always falling short.

And Alfie keeps coming back to Emily knowing about her persistent feelings for Gabriel. They’re both flawed.
But Alfie ends up with another woman in a relationship that seems to be moving well. Which tells me Alfie grew up and learned to pick a healthy woman and relationship. And that’s life. Both men and women pick wrong partners until they learn how to spot the right ones.

Honestly I’m not liking Emily’s character as much as season 1, it’s like she’s not really ready to in a committed relationship, I’ve lost track of how many guys she’s been at this point
I couldn’t believe she was still trying to convince Alfie to shag with her when she doesn’t love him
If there were any spin offs for this series, I would hope it would be for Alfie, he deserves someone who truly wants to be with him
