- More Rules based stuff to talk about for the Digimon TCG. The New General Rule for the Handling of Names, that seems to me to be the the same rule they have always had. As well we will take a look at some of the Q&A's for the new card effects from BT16. Lots to Discuss!

Just making sure that you're aware, but having ACE and X-Antibody in a name are not the same situation. ACE is never actually part of the name, like you said, but (X Antibody) *is* actually in the name. Otherwise cards like EX5 Gabumon X Antibody wouldn't work.
So if you have a card that is asking for [WereGarurumon] specifically, you would be able to count WereGarurumon ACE, but you couldn't count WereGarurumon (X Antibody), since that's actually a different name.
Yes, I am aware. I think I was more referring to the fact that for cards that say X antibody and ace in them, we don’t have to worry about the name change handling rules applying to them since the first part would obviously have the correct name like Greymon, not dex doru or burning.
