I think I understand it now. The reason overclock lets you attack when suspended is that the effect is letting you bypass the cost of attacking. The cost of declaring an attack is, of course always suspending your Digimon. by deleting a Digimon you substitute that for the cost of declaring that attack. Meaning that if your Digimon either isn’t suspended and you can make another regular attack afterwards. or if your Digimon is already suspended, you can make the attack since you are paying the cost for the attack by deleting your Digimon instead of suspending. Whereas with vortex it does not change the cost, the attack requirement still requires you to suspend, however, it lets you attack, even if you just summoned the Digimon, and you have to attack an opponents Digimon. Hopefully, this makes sense!

Yeah, I was thinking it had potential, the nice thing is that milling is still technically good in the deck, even if it’s not the main way you want to drop cards, you drop them from your hand. Still it adds consistency by speeding up your trash plays

@@jimmymc1188 I thought there was a discussion about BT5 Guilmon not getting his ability off of dp reduction to 0, due to it being a game mechanic. I guess they must have changed it so yellow isn’t super unfair to purple

dp reduction is not deletion by effect, the ruling is that it's the game mechanic of the digimon being at zero dp is what's deleting it not the effect that reduced the dp.

This is what I got from my friend in the judge network hopefully it clarifies: Deletion by 0 dp is not an effect, it's a rule. So guilmon wouldn't get his effect. Bear in mind this is only for on deletion abilities that Read: if this card was deleted by an effect. Like BT5 Guilmon, hence the reason they stopped Using that phrasing with on deletion effects shortly after that set.

Yeah, it is quite powerful, however, the fact that it only works with liberator trait cards does limit it to certain decks. I guess we’ll have to see how important it ends up being to the meta!

Yeah, it sucks when you have a tiny community because it’s hard to play games as much, I’m part of a discord server brickcity.deck. Which was started by a bunch of guys from Ontario, it’s really great group and if you have a WebCam, you can go on and play matches against people and test whenever you have the chance!

When we get a new GeoGrey that lets you play a second Marcus, like a lot of the new LV4 reveals from EX7 and future sets, I think it’ll really help the deck since BT13 GeoGrey two one really hurt the deck., and hey now that they neutered yellow vaccine by hitting TK maybe they can unrestrict Geo in the future!

The fact that this cost 180 million to make was hilarious and in the end they killed most of the characters so you really had no one to be invested in. Plus, they tried to play the Jedi as the bad guys and the Sith as misunderstood, and it just really felt like everyone was just stupid. And if I wanna watch show with stupid people, I’m watching a sitcom.

Yes, and it’s ability to go into Paladin mode Ace is just so good, plus it has to worry less about decks that just chuck level 3s at security while you are trying to build up your combo

Yeah, I was doing that with the new AncientGreymon, didn’t think about using it with the old one. I guess I am just worried about not being able to end the game and not getting a tamer back like with a new one. However, now that Ukko has been limited I’ll definitely try a copy out in the deck!

I mean more terriermon couldn’t hurt plus you have the X-Antibody versions of both lopmon and terriermon. Those are good as well and have on plays.

An interesting idea I’ll have to give it a try. Kimeramon is such a good card. I just didn’t think I would be stacking up level 4s that easy but with the other kurisarimon playing for two, yeah I guess it could definitely work.

Out of eight boxes, we pulled six. Pretty crazy, especially since it’s one of the most expensive supers in the set.

Well, right now I’m believe AncientGarurumons are going for between 30 to 35 for the regular super, which is kind of nuts for a super. So based on what you could get out of the box and sell, you might be better off just with a box, than just picking up the single. I would honestly wait until the set releases to see if there is a massive drop like there is sometimes on release day.

@@BmanX45 I know many people wanting to play the deck too. Koji is one of my favourites from Frontier so I’ve been wanting to play the deck since announcement but since it became a top deck it’s hard to find the singles once they’re opened

I haven’t tested making a deck list in the app, but I have used the app for tournaments so I know it works to register decks and check pairings/submit results. Except they still haven’t figured out how to do ties properly on their stupid app and it’s been out for years.

Yeah, it was pretty good boxes. Honestly, be interesting to see where the market sits for a lot of the cards we pulled, come this Friday when the set releases.

Yes, I am aware of that set I saw it on universal distribution’s site, but we haven’t got any official information about it on the bandai site so I’m not 100% sure what’s gonna be included in it. Like I said, they’ve already started to do some of those limited cards as event pack cards.

August 2 is pre-release and August 9 is release

It just seems so free in a deck that spams tokens. Why wouldn’t you want to play it? That and black boost puts your aratas on bottom of deck, and I feel you still need him to help you with keeping a steady stream of tokens on the board!

They both look like super fun decks and I can’t wait for EX7 to come out as well as the starter decks so we can try all these cool archetypes out!

That is a really great combo, however, not sure if I would commit to that with only playing 2 X-Antibody level 6’s. Feel like it would be more consistent if I was running 4 cherubi x-antibody.

Sorry to hear about that, thought it looked big enough, but my computer is like a 27” iMac, so I guess it appears differently depending on what you’re watching it on. I’ll have to keep that in mind for other videos!

plus I played sistermon because i didnt have raremon, might be worth a consideration to choke your opponent early on. but i will include more raremon and add barbamon because of the synergy he has with both raremons and porcupamons. really helpful out against decks that wait out your 7th turn and play pomumon or an early chikurimon

I think it’s an all right card. I just rather have an extra biting crush because I can choose which guy I destroy and set up my Levia plays, which is honestly one of the best plays in the deck! It is nice to be able to play it for free though from the trash, just find I don’t have a lot of occasions where I get to go into Beelze X.

My friend is still doing pretty good with this build in fact came in third at regionals last week with a similar build although he’s using GoldVeedramons as his level 4 instead of the BT11 Veedramons. As well as modifying the Tamer lineup now that BT16 Ken and Davis is out

@BmanX45 Don't get me wrong I'm not saying that it's not out of competition or outdated but simple that it needs some extra support, recently I played with a similar Deck I did very well against Royal Knights and Terriermon Deck but eventually I end lose to two BT16 TyrantKabuterimon both because I couldn't return them to the opponent's hand as it was not effected by effects when it is Suspend but also because both they had MetallifeKuwagamon in they evolution cards and 2 BT15 Izzy in play, so it literally stopped my 4 attacks in a row with ease as he changes the target and force my Ulforce to hit his 16000 DP TyrantKabuterimon. The only reason I managed to survive this long was because I played a BT16 ExVeemon and make my Ulforce to be invulnerable to Delete from battle. I believe we need at least one new Rina that gives us some protection, eg preventing Veedramon from returning to the hand - Deck.

Yes, I do believe the deck is very due for some support that directly coincides with its line. Not sure when we’re gonna get that though and honestly the player I know who topped literally doesn’t play anything else but that deck. He’s a master and is kind of an outlier with the deck. Personally, right now I think the only thing you can do with the deck is try to turbo your way to a win as fast as possible before your opponent can set up their pieces.

I often wish I could get a case of a set, but most the time I can pick up the rest of the box toppers for a decent price. As long as I get all my stuff at prerelease and don’t have to wait for boosters and then hunt for it like a week after release, it’s usually better to buy singles that way!

@@BmanX45 i open boxes just for sell singles for profit, not for hunting, it's the first time that I started buying boxes that I will want to keep just a few cards Cause I only play deck from Garurumon line, in this case I will play ancient Garurumon Bt15 I didn't buy boxes cause they weren't worth for selling and I bought the singles for me

Yes, it’s always a hard line to figure out whether it’s worth buying the boxes or just the singles, I get a pretty good price through my store since I’m the only one that buys digimon. So I kinda feel like buying boxes is worthwhile and it’s good content for the channel. As well, I collect playsets of entire sets so it makes it that I only have to buy alternate after I’m done opening boxes!

Yeah, I’m thinking you will get to see more cards from ST18, EX7, and maybe even BT18, and so far the artwork is really, really good!

Yeah, I’ll be having my deck profile hit the channel soon and I have been looking at some of those cards myself definitely the mame and cyclone

I really hope not I can’t imagine shatter point or as I like to call it “Star Wars crisis protocol,” can be that much more popular than Legion. I mean it would just get boring to me to have the same old figures, Jedi, Jedi, trooper, trooper, droid, droid, etc. at least with crisis protocol you have a little bit of flavor being that each superhero is drastically different with drastically different powers. Same for the villains. At least with legion you have different sizes and classes of expansions like ATST, Troopers, Operatives, and supports like the speeder bike or even the Dewback.

You could max out on level 4’s and things like mist mem boost that help you set up your trash faster and get memory for plays. Deathxmon it’s just there for wide boards that need to be dealt with, so any form of mass removal or it can hit multiple cards would be good. Hope this helps!

@@BmanX45 Only thing I've found with testing is I can't draw my level 5s when I need them. Might want to increase them further, perhaps reduce the level 6s or even switch the defense training for black memory boost to search deeper in the deck.

I personally just don’t know any other level fives I really want to play in this deck. I guess my hope is that between searching the deck and the security stack and the draw power as well from digivolving for cheap and for free; that you would get to your pieces fairly quickly. In fact I find I usually don’t have problem getting to level fives. It’s some of the level sixes for the OTK that I don’t see, and then I got a play the slower grind game to defeat my opponent.

@@BmanX45 How about adding a RaijiLudomon from EX6? It can digigivolve over most of the level 4s, and can be put under one of your level 5s for a bonus Etamon effect of forcing attack, while protecting from being deleted in battle.

Was just reading it last night haven’t really been paying attention to the new Ragna stuff. Looks like it could be a solid choice. If you decide to test it let me know how it works out!

It’s a really nice set, however if you’re just interested in the cards, I’d wait the prices will drop!
