Yeah this was a Toku in both sense Theme was Toei's Spider-Man, starring Shinji Todo as Motocross racer Takuya Yamashiro who, after encountering Garia(last survivor of Planet Spider) became the "Emissary of Hell, Spider-Man!!" And Stop motion also counts(all Mecha gattai sequences before CGI were stop motion)
YOOOO, this was brilliant in every way. You already perfected the Spider-Man movement, but you've surpassed even yourself with this masterpiece. Definitely one of my favorite brickfilms I've seen in a long time. As a side note, I've never heard the Japanese Spider-Man intro but now I love it (Thanks for providing the subtitles too), especially the lyrics "Why do you, why do you... choose to continue to fight, risking your own life?" It made me retrospect on the character of Spider-Man in a lot of ways especially with the mini montage of him getting beat down only to get back up. Either way, you outdid yourself again. So pumped to see more.
This is art. Right here. Only thing keeping it from being a masterpiece is the lack of the giant robot for spidy, but stop motion is more wonderful to watch than it is to animate with, so kudos on that.
1:10 anyone find it somewhat beautiful when the Japanese sing like this? It's like you're apologizing to someone, idolizing someone and mourning them at the same time. I think that's how they feel about sacrifice.
Such a fantastic video! I loved seeing all the different villains, it felt surprisingly gritty and street level, the closest to a Raimi Spider-Man movie I've ever seen in the medium of stop motion!
This is the best Edbound video where the music matches up with the animation. The song alone is already great and an amazing pick for a Spider-Man video. And they way the movement matches up is so perfect and it really feels like Spider-Man action. I especially love the way their will be a beat drop companied by a punch, it makes the punch feel heavier and more realistic. Also the effects/animation you put in Electro and Mysterio’s “power blasts” is so powerful and realistic looking, I’m so glad you put the extra effort into doing it. Not to mention all the Easter Eggs and references you put in this video that are call backs to the Spider-Man movies, comics or your own Spiderman videos. Not to mention what a creative idea this video is. I know this took a while, but the end result was amazing. Great job Edbound!
I've watched this three times already. Sometimes watching certain scenes in .25 speed just to see the individual frames. I also remember watching the making of this on stream. Turned out very well!

fun fact: Spiderman's japanese show led to the creation of Super Sentai, which in tern spawned Power Rangers. So in a sense, Spiderman was the reason Power Rangers existed
that's true except for one detail, Spider-Man didnt exactly led to the creation of Super Sentai as a whole(Gorenger and JAKQ were already released when Spider-Man was released) but it did led to the implematation of Mechas in the franchise (this misconception that Spider-Man led to the creation of Super Sentai stem from the fact that at the time Gorenger and JAKQ werent considered Super Sentai and Battle Fever J, which was released the year after Spider Man, was at the time the First Super Sentai but that was retconnned by the time of Ohranger. So Leopardon is technically the first Megazord
