not at all lmao. it makes sense for cp universe where its extremely cutthroat due to the fact corporations have no restrains in said universe. This is not the case in current day USA. Nobody is forcing anyone to work in any industry and plenty of them offer pretty lax lifestyles along with the profession. To this day we still have people go from rags to riches, as capitalism allows it so and it is 100% well earned. Nobody is forcing anyone to work a dreadful 9-5, by all means pick up farming and you can work for YOURSELF from the moment you wake up till you go to sleep 6-7 days a week year round no vacay lol.

We gotta admit there can also be a dark side, mostly fueled by greed imo, where mean bosses keep their overqualified employees enslaved down, rich managers making big bucks off bad work conditions and people losing their life economies to bad insurance companies, scammers, overpriced healthcare and criminals. Kinda ashamed to admit I was beyond late in catching up & hopping onto Cyberpunk's "anticipation-train", which was being created/produced by arguably the industries best independent video game developer & stand alone publisher in the world currently (CDPR) & basically ever since Witcher 3: Wild Hunt took the world of video games, mainly single player narrative driven triple A titles, & flipped it on its face back in 2015. I mean, the Witcher 3 & the mechanics that were showcased within the game pre-release sparked enough excitement & anticipation that I had emerged from my post-high school video game hibernation for it alone & if it wasn't for a roommate of mine at the time acquiring W3 the day it released & the fact we had opposite work schedules, I likely would have buckled down & purchased a PS4 just so I could play it. You'd think falling absolutely in love with that masterpiece of a game & it's lore would have prompted me to get back into the VG scene, or at least motivate me to give two shits about Cyberpunk 2077 after finding out that CDPR was behind it & would be (essentially) incorporating many aspects of another one of my other all time favorite games & rpg's, Fallout NV (if it's not apparent why I mention F:NV, then spell it out I shall, just look for the asterix after I finish my complete thought/OC), but it didn't, for my ignorance, lethargy, cynicism, & apathy towards the world outweighed my ability to care about anything, especially something I knew very little about. With no immediate access to the interwebs at the time to satiate any minor curiosities that may have helped plant my erection-seed for this game sooner, news about it went in one ear & out the other. Now that I'm all fucking for this game to finally come out al-fucking-ready & have been for some time now, I didn't think they could possibly release anything new about the game that would make that now sprouted little chub into a full blown erection-flower, but this is CDPR we are talking about, & I have underestimated them for the last time, for Refused is exactly the band I had in mind they work with for this title. It's as if they sat down & asked me a bunch of questions coordinated with different check boxes that I'd like from this game, & what my vision would look like for it to be perfect, because everything I've found out about this (most probably) mind-blowingly amazing game has hit my sweet spots thoroughly & in just the right way on every marker 😅 *The New Vegas Nod Explained: similarities I feel are pretty obviously evident, but here we go: main gameplay for both are fps, both are immersive deep rpg's that are heavily narrative & dialogue driven with actual consequences & rewards for pivotal decisions the player makes during missions or even whilst just exploring, both have an amazing team developing the game, etc
