The tape or band-aid on the ring is actually a fitting trick some people use to make their ring's fit more snug. I had to do it with my silver amber ring my mom gave me.

I do the same too, instead of resize it I use adhesive tape or hot glue, it always works. 👍😅👋👋👋☺

Hi the green stone ring at the end is Avon and is suppose to be Jade!!! My Mother use to have that ring that is why I recognized it!!!
