Valve games manage bots nav mesh by making an invisible grid through the map. Is pretty much static, so when there are things like props spawned bots usually have a hard time waking around them, let alone on top of them.

Bots can only walk on mapped space. Props are not mapped. Not big surprise they failed.

Did you know if you spam click a sentry you'll have a lvl 1 minigun? I got this from experience from the addon. You would have to look down though or else it will not work.
