It was so interesting to watch you knitting colourwork in the portuguese kniting style. I did try ordinary portuguese knitting using a knitting pin, but it didn't suit me. It is always fun watching others knit and all the different ways there are of knittitng. The variety is wonderful. So glad you got to spend some quality time with your daughter.

The knitting pin does not work for me either. I have to put it on my neck. I think that knowing different ways of knitting helps with pains and finding solutions to different projects. I normally knit Portuguese style because I am faster with this method, but for colourwork that you need to see the pattern as you knit then continental might be a better option. It was really nice to be with my daughter, they grow so fast.

Thank you for demonstrating Portuguese knitting and the Knit companion App. I've been wondering how that app works, since I hear a lot of people talking about it.

I know the knitting companion can do much more than what I use it for, but I love it just for what I use. One of the best use for me is that even if I stop a project for a long time, when I open the project I know exactly where I am. I totally recommend it.
