Awesome playing and pedal buddy, great tones, I agree with all of your conclusions. And it'll be a great price too✌️👍😊💜
Thank you for such kind words 👍 it's a fab pedal, I had loads of fun doing this one
@@BudgetPedalChap You're more than welcome. Always a pleasure, I could tell you had fun👍😊✌️💜
Wow this sounds great. Gonna have to pick one up!!!
Absolutely. Let me know how you get on with it when you get one 👍
@3:15 really reminded me of the ozzy bark at the moon tone. I think you had the same idea since that’s the riff you played 😁
🤣🤣🤣 if Ozzy's lawyers ask, the resemblance is only coincidental
My favorite is the Nobels ODR-1 flavors of pedals. I really like the new 30th anniversary one and also my Karma OD-10. Both great versions. But I look at overdrives like paint brushes. Sometimes you need to use different brushes for different situations. I love the Greer lightspeed to for that subtle overdrive that just slightly livens whatever you play too. And then my 70s Distortion + for distortion tones. Those are my go-tos
Absolutely. I'm going to use that excuse when I'm asked by the missus why I've got another overdrive 🤣🤣
The ts9/808 pedals the demon make are good for the money. And the fortin and Deisel clones are great too. Never seen this pedal before...
It's based on the mad prof sweet honey. I've never tried one but the joyo version is very good, I would recommend trying one out 👍
DemonFX Joyo and Mad Professor are all in fact aiming at the BJF Honey Bee, the OG circuit. BJFe sells the original as a kit for $99
Interesting, I did not know this. Thanks for the info 👍
@@BudgetPedalChap The difference between Mad Professor and the other 2 you mentioned is that mad Professor is the same designer as BJFe (and original designer for BearfootFX). DemonFX and Joyo are building clones. Great pedals, but the distinction is significant and relevant.
Definitely more grit than TStypes. Dig it!
Yeah, it definitely goes a bit further than the TS👍
The sweet honey is based on an old supro amp. Makes sense
Cool pedal but looking forward to the Demonfx Gladiator which is their take on the Gladio. Ordered one off of Reverb today and can't wait to get it!
Ooh, very nice. Let me know how you get on with it, I might see if I can get one in for the channel myself 👍
@@BudgetPedalChap I will definitely let you know how the Gladiator is. Enjoy your videos and thanks for turning us on to cool pedals.
@@BudgetPedalChapthe DemonFX Gladiator is awesome. It is based on the Gladio 2.1 version which means it has trimpots for presence and bass and a switch for a different gain stage on channel 2 side. Very cool pedal for sure. You need to demo it when you can!
@@sld67869801 I'll try get on that as soon as I can 👍 sounds right up my street
Your amp is already running hot, I would like to hear this pedal through a clean signal.

very interesting, it really can sing
Indeed. It's an interesting low gain overdrive for sure
Great video m8! i was wondering if anyone can help me with my rig, im considering buying a joyo british sound, but im wondering if need another cabsim pedal on my rig. Ive seen people talk about how the joyo ampsims have an outdated cabsim in it. Or another alternative, should i just buy a mooer preamp 002, which already have a proper cabsim in it? *(currently building my first pedalboard and on a strict budget)*
Sorry buddy, I was certain I'd replied to this one. I've got no experience with the mooer but I often pair the joyo amp sims up with an IR pedal. Go for the sonic IR by sonicake as it's decent and the cheapest on the market that I've found 👍
@@BudgetPedalChap thanks for your suggestion! gonna go ahead and do exactly that. Also, sorry for the spam, wont happen again :)
@@thanotrick5691 no worries at all gent, glad I could help 👍
Yep.
Yep indeed 👍
Does it use the OP275 like the original?
From the pictures on their site, it looks like it's using a jrc4558. They don't say anything on their site so it's just a guess 🤷♂️
This is nice. Currently not vibing on my OCD clones and the Dolamo yellow OD is kinda going "meh" too. I like the mids on this quite a bit.
Pedal colors: definitely. Aqua blue is always chorus. Yellow is OD. Primary red is distortion. Light green for TS style OD. Black is METAL (as is tradition). I associate whites with delay but that doesn't seem to be a "standard."
Interesting take on the colours. White delay is a bold choice but I've got nothing better to suggest, so why not eh? All others, solid choices, can't fault 10/10.
Do you prefer the Joyo sweet baby or this one?
Ooh good question. I think the joyo goes slightly cleaner at the low end, so imma go with that one 👍
@@BudgetPedalChap the Joyo Sweet Baby is really sweet water :)
Noice 👌🏻
Indeed it is, cracking pedal 👍
