They should be coated with something after this. Because clear coat gets removed in this process, protection against haze is removed. Better to coat it with some protection also in the end

@@gamerdudeplays2866 There is a specific paint that is used for UV protection of the plastic for the headlights, but a cheaper and readily available in Pakistan is, using clear uv protection ppf.

@@shaheeralikhan9561 dont get it opened in the first place. If you do, make sure it is sealed back with waterproof gum.
Exactly. He didn’t even bother to remove the old gum and apply a new one to get it sealed properly 😮
2:21 I was not expecting such type of Ignorant video from Pakwheels. Car headlights are sprayed with a special UV protection coating. Once it is gone then headlights lose protective UV film. Our mechanics are unaware of it and they destroy that coating by (Raigmaar and force Polishing). But atleast Pakwheels should have known it.

@@rafeykhan1130 then go and get some more knowledge and don't talk about the whole world. I have a BMW in Europe and foreign mechanics know their craft very well. Foreign mechanics always put protective coat again after any form of Polishing. In the above video no protective coating is put on any headlight.

They'll be even more dirtier in 3 weeks time. He hasn't put any clear coat on the lens. Pakwheels the so called experts in car don't even know that.

If Pak wheels wanted to publish this video , they should contacted a professional atleast. The boy put the lights on dirty surface where dust particles are in the air and after doing his work, he again kept the lights on dirty surface. Moreover he was cleaning the back side of lamps after fixing the glass which was again full of dust.
It's better to get a new one. restoration locally is not a good option. Lights are the grace of the car.
Brother saaf krna mehnga ni hy agar lights just scratch se bhari hui hon or glass lense yellow hojaye to saaf krwa leni chahiye genuine headlights kam as kam 40 thousand k aas pas hain reborn ki r ye kam 2 3 hazar mein hojata hy
@@peerzadaautos1987 bilkul theek kaha ap ney but lights ko kabhe b open nahe karwana chaye. Buff se bht behtar ho jati hein. Lights restoration ki cream/polish aati hai wo use karni chaye like 1,2 months mey ek do bar bahteeen rehti hein lights.

@@peerzadaautos1987 true. Agar lights open karwa di kam kharab ho jata hai genuine chez genuine hi hoti hai. Buff and polish thak baat theek hai otherwise its a wise thing to get new lights. :) lights gari ki shan hoti hai jitni marzi saaf rakh lo gari agar lights saaf nahe maza nahe aata

@@muneebrana5896 You are right buffing from outside will be good enough, there are high chances of water coming in once the seals are opened
This is not a professional way to clean your headlights. I would say go for professional detailer i mean who knows the proper way to clean and restore headlights.
Yea you right. You can do at home by using 3M restoration kit using a normal dril.

@@ChickenPlays19 agar apki car headlight bohat scratches fade hai.... to 800 ka sandpaper lena hai with soapy water or headlight to rub krna hai pir oske bad 1000 ka sandpaper lena hai rub it... os ke bad 1500 ka lena hai rub it pir 2000 ka lena rub 2000 ke sandpaper se headlight smooth ho jaye gy....or ye sandpaper pani waly leny hai or 50 50 ke sab leny hai agr apko lagta hai smooth nai to 3000 ka sandpaper se rub krna hai.... pir daraz se hgjk headlight ke 50 ml se bottle order kr lena is pe laga lena.... apki headlight brand new........ agr apki. headlight normal fade hai to 1000 sandpaper se start krna hai.
