Nice review. Something for your followers, if you are in an aft cabin on lower decks(not usually an issue up on deck 7) you are at risk of vibrations from the engines to the point where things rattle in your room. It's a known issue with the Disney Wonder.
We’ll be in room 7000 on our upcoming Alaska cruise. First time without a verandah on DCL but we think we’ll like it. Our boys are 13 and 11. It will be tight but doable.
We loved the location of 7000 and 7002 because nobody ever walked by! It was much quieter than our cruise on Disney Magic in March when we were right by the elevators. Not having a balcony actually made no difference in the total size of the room itself. Disney rooms, even insides, are very spacious and I am sure you'll be just fine. Check out my recent cabin tour of our room on Holland America Eurodam to Alaska for a room that WAS too small for us! I'm jealous. I would rather have gone to Alaska on the Disney Wonder!
