- This is the new QSP Gorilla that is maybe a little bigger than we first decided. Might be more of a "his" knife but it sure has caught both of our attention, especially at $65.

I noticed the Gorilla today in your QSP Unicorn review video and had to check it out. I really liked the looks of it. The second you showed the Denim scale model I immediately proceeded to White Mountain Knives lol …. Had to have that.

I think the Otter is a great value. I have had mine for a couple years now. S35VN and copper foil carbon fiber for $108. Not bad at all.

I like the Gorilla, only QSP I currently own is the Pelican, which resembles the Penguin

I have a QSP Penguin Micarta D2 Sheepsfoot blade and I just kept hearing from all the big knife channels that this is one of the best budget knives. So for $30 I carry it at work for boxes and what not and can really stretch its legs instead of bringing my rare expensive knives such as the Pro-Tech TR4 Operator, Pro-Tech Dark Angel, or my Microtech Stitch or Halo VI. I was wondering if anyone has ever snagged their more pricey knife clips while in your pocket on something? and bent it out so it's not touching the handle anymore, I did that with my Microtech Stitch and was so pissed, but I was able to take it off when I got home and bend it back to the correct position. It's nice to have the cheap Penguin with a hard D2 on their.

@@BirdShotIV convenience ( super stainless and easy to sharpen ) while having decent edge retention and outstanding toughness IMHO 14c28n shines on a fixed blade.
I don't mind oiling my blades or the added difficulty of sharpeinng with D2 as I use my knives hard in the woods so I'll take the exceptional ( far more so than 14c28n ever thought about having ) edge retention , Larrin himself even put it in the same category as s35vn for edge retention and some other key aspects of blade steel. and that is ingot form cpm D2 smokes ingot D2 on all fronts.
