    I have two renegade race-x 36v 1000w quads for my boys. Will a 48v lithium battery aid with speed and usage time? My boys are getting bored of the ‘speed’ of them now but fit them well still.

    That motor looks exactly like the one I’m doing atm, I’m not welding the diff. Could you give some advice on that angle you mentioned? I’m going 200a on a fardriver 72560

    Hey! Let me know if I followed this correctly, you changed the controller because you changed the motor, yes?

    • @KiloVoltBikes
      @KiloVoltBikes  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Original setup was 48v battery motor and controller , we swapped to a 80v battery and big controller with the stock motor

      @StreetArtistsOfTheWorld 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@KiloVoltBikes If you didn't swap for a higher voltage you wouldn't need to change the controller, yes?
      Wish I was in the same country as you, would love to apprentice in your shop! Binge watchig your channel tho!

      @@KiloVoltBikes Good content! Electric bikes are becoming a big thing so your timing too is right, I have almost 12k subs, I think you are going to pass me quick!

      Hey again,
      Reading your reply I see that you now have a 80v battery and controller but a 48v (stock) motor, do you limit the power going to the motor in some way? Isn't there a possibility of the motor going belly up if you are supplying a 48v motor with 80v?
      Thanks!

    I did wander about the sanity of welding up the diff, makes it a lot harder to ride/ turn corners, don’t let anyone else on it that doesn’t understand what a fixed rear axle is going to do

    • @KiloVoltBikes
      @KiloVoltBikes  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Most production quad bikes such as - Yamaha raptor 450, 660 and 700 , Honda TRX and more all feature fixed axles . You will find diffs are rarely used in off-road ATVs .
      We fully get what your saying in regards to safety , but it’s just a quick bit of fun for the channel. ALLOT of power in that tiny frame is a recipe for danger ⛔️ No ones been brave enough to ride it since 😅
