Soon to be H7-H8 for challenge locks. I have a lot of work to do to make it as good as H6, but that's the fun part!

Yeah if the key is entered in the opperside of the lock and you put a other key in, the other key is blocked at the end, '''only''' if the other key is turned a lill.
Otherwise you will just push the other key out a bit. (and you can still turned it with the key)
    For picking,
Then you need to reset the inside piece in deed when the key is released, So if you put a key in and take it out and you are then picking the other side then you need to push that at the end to unlock.
This is normally a standard thing , but that you realy need to reset that is not always while picking.
Its a security thing if a key is in the lock and turned , it is then like a nightlock so nobody even with a key can enter from the outside.
You can pick it yes the core wil move but the locking hatch will not, because with the key in ( there is a mechanisme inside the latch. if you remove the key you can push the inside thing like a bar on the side you where picking ;)
but this is more for locks in the door itself this '' '' night lock '' '' because if the hatch dont turn you cant unlock the door even when you turned the core. (if the key is in the opperside)

So, I believe it is basically a key check. I cut it in half and found that it's a little spring-loaded part that will get pushed out of the way when the key is there. It doesn't have its own retention part, so when you take it apart, it will no longer be functional.🤙💜✌️

15 minutes to be exact, lol. I could not figure out for the life of me why I was getting such a deep false set. I thought the person I bought it from may have made traps into in or something. Nope, just a key check tab at the back.✌️💜🤦🤙
