The algorithm decided I needed to see this five years later, and it was so right. I feel so lucky I got to see Jason do a solo show at a tiny venue in Phoenix a few years before he passed. Thank you for honoring him in this way.

I came to Jason Molina's music through Joe O'Connell' music. Joe's on stage here. Jason's voice really hit me, the same way Gram Parson's voice did years ago. I regret that I never got to hear either one of them while they were with us.

I found out about Jason from a piece NPR did on him, unfortunately it was after his passing. I'm not normally in to folk type music but there is just something about what Jason did that I really connect with and I revisit his catalog every year.

Yeah I discovered him shortly after his death in 2013 by stumbling on “What Comes After the Blues.” There’s just something about his music that connects with me and it can build me up, tear me down, make me think, etc. I wish I would’ve found out about him eat and I really wish he was still around but I am grateful for what he left us.
