That's why he wears the head and neck scarf... it covers the scars & teef marks from gators gnawing on him when he was young and slow. NOW... Lamar is a great athlete and has become a better pure passer. His running ability gets a lot of 1 on 1 throwing lanes vs. man, thus he doesn’t have to be a surgeon. In the past that could be exploited, but not as much now. The way the Chiefs beat him in the past was to build up a 2 score lead, and Harbaugh would start having him throw all over the yard - or mimic Brandon Staley like going for it on most 4th downs in spots where punting to pin us back far would’ve probably been better situational / intuitive ball. What’s different is the Chiefs don’t have the same skill players, and brass used the money to build their lines and defense. So that 2 score lead might not be in the cards this time. In short, the Ravens are stacked and Harbaugh is a great coach. Baltimore deserves their accolades especially for running the 9ers out of the stadium. They’ve beat the hell out of some good teams this year. I think if Lamar shows up again in a big moment in the postseason, my hat off to him.
