Took a nice four hour drive down to North Carolina to relax with the family and get in some bass fishing. I was not able to cover the entire body of water while fishing in my jon boat. I wish I could have at least one more day out there to dial in my tactics a little more. I know that place has some giants in it but the conditions were not where I wanted them even with almost 80 degree weather. Until next time.....

I was born and raised 4 miles from there off hwy 98 and still live in Raleigh. I’ve caught a 8lb bass out of falls.

@@GTX10 NC is a cool place. Try Kerr or Jordan lake. Lots of people moving here the past 10 years.

Nice job man. I really like that livewell you got. That place has a lot of nice trees on it. Tough to break it all down quickly from the job boat.

Thanks! A lot of water to cover to find productive areas. It was a great experience regardless.

Try trout fishing in Boone (very easy)
Try saltwater fishing on the pier (also easy)
Try golf course pond (fairly easy)

Can I just walk on and start fishing? I’m asking because I come from Michigan and if you do that you will get kicked of the course .

I was only in town for a few days to fish. I believe the fish are definitely catchable, just have to fish slow with jig or soft plastic. No spinner bait, or eractic baits that everyone else throws
