As a cosmetic tattooist and trainee cosmetic nurse do you think starting a TH-cam channel and creating digital products and templates geared towards salons and clinics and therapists/clinicians etc… so digital appointment books and planners etc and training manuals for brow mapping/training e-books for lash extensions or tattooing etc… would be successful or too niche? You nailed it! Hey, quick question. My husband is a chef. He’s passionate and very successful at it but it’s taken a toll on his body after nearly 20 years and he wants to get out. But the idea of spending half his life doing this is super depressing. Like he’s wasted all the time to work his way to the top to just walk away. What ideas would you give for someone in this industry a service based “out”? He’s got time, at least a few years to work on a side hustle. Thanks for all the awesome info!
This is a great question! I used to work in the restaurant industry as a server and I also wonder how to translate my “skills” to a service based business. Look at the skills that help you do your job. For example, in some retail industries, you need skills like inventory management, record keeping, logistics, etc you can coach small business owners in that industry or transfer those skills to help other entrepreneurs in other industries. For food service, you can start an online membership community to help moms or single dads with dinner ideas, etc.

Your video is so funny but 30 years ago, people complained about Monday Blues!!! People LOVE Fridays!!!

Have you helped any nurses find an entrepreneurial alternative? Nurses, the “most trusted” profession, have quickly become one of the most exploited professions. Our skills are pretty hands on and medical practice laws keep us from providing any of our services or using our skills outside of facilities. I may be looking at it wrong but I can’t seem to make all of my education, skills, and knowledge translate into anything I can do on my own. Anyone have ideas?
I just want to say for anyone wanting to use their crafting skills, it does involve a learning curve to be able to run a shop effectively and can be time consuming. And while you can make money off of your skills, you will also have a lot of other tasks associated with it. I'm not trying to scare anyone, I have a shop and have had several others over time as my skills have developed and evolved. It can be really fulfilling! But when I was working full time and running my shop, it was a LOT (I was also making TH-cam videos at the same time, I was never not doing something)
Also, you should have accounts for your shop. You don't need to be active everywhere but knowing where your audience is and hanging out there with them is super helpful at creating connections.

But I don't want to work in an office anymore, I want to work from home and be my own boss. But I hesitate because I don't feel like my "skills" are more than average. How does one find a niche or online business when you are hesitant?
Ok, so, I work for Grubhub and am constantly serving in the food delivery world, however, the work is now way slower and there are more drivers then deliveries. How can I start a similar service from home? My next big question would be, how does one get clients for said service?

For food service, you can start an online membership community to help moms or single dads with dinner ideas, etc.
YES!!!! In the last 30 years of my life, my boss said, who came up with this seven-day work week? Girl, I burst out laughing. To hear my boss, who has a boss, manager, and a director, complain had me laughing! I didn't know life could be so amazing if we didn't have to work. LOL!! Your video is so funny but 30 years ago, people complained about Monday Blues!!! People LOVE Fridays!!!
I enjoy the job/work it's the poor Leadership and coworker drama that's exhausting
I recently started a TH-cam channel! I’m hoping that one day it can become my side hustle xx
hair and sweater on fleek
Am having palpitation jst thinking about going back to work on Monday. Ugh too much drama so little pay.
Hello, what is the best way to make money from crypto trading/stock.
Learn how to read candlesticks and watch the charts that way you can figure out when to buy and when not to.. If you wanna make money on crypto... You wanna buy when it low.. so when people investment (ROI) without any extra fees attached.
People are panicking...
You should be stacking .. because it will pay off.
I got 85% percent of my portfolio in crypto and it has been great returns.
Investing in crypto now is very cool with the current rise in the market.
I don't trade, I invest with a professional assigned by a crypto company that trades for us and returns profits on weekly basis for me and you can invest your capital and get weekly returns.
I can’t seem to get any sales on my Etsy and I have a FB and IG idk anything about SEO
Could you talk more about offering a service? I would like to understand more about it
Have you helped any nurses find an entrepreneurial alternative? Nurses, the “most trusted” profession, have quickly become one of the most exploited professions. Our skills are pretty hands on and medical practice laws keep us from providing any of our services or using our skills outside of facilities. I may be looking at it wrong but I can’t seem to make all of my education, skills, and knowledge translate into anything I can do on my own. Anyone have ideas?
Reviewing work comp cases or a mentor/advisor for a nursing program at a college
Would you recommend someone just starting out to go and get their Adsense for TH-cam started first ?
How can I do a service job with an EMT background?
"I said fart book" 😂😂😂 thanks for this video it's very helpful. 💚
How do I do administration? How would I start that? I have over 10 years
I just want to say for anyone wanting to use their crafting skills, it does involve a learning curve to be able to run a shop effectively and can be time consuming.
Yes, 100%, that’s why i made sure to say that it’s not as easy as it used to be - it has gotten harder and harder to grow, congrats on running a successful shop!
@@jessicastansberry it's definitely not 😂 I actually had to close my successful shop for my health (which turned out to be perfect timing because it was right before 2020 started, and I sold soap 💀).
But just like with TH-cam and Instagram there's resources to help you grow an Etsy, so I hope anyone who wants to use their skills to earn an income, DOES!
I Want to quit my job, I have many skills and don't want just use one of it, but can't figure it out how I could join them. I am artist with carpenter background. Would you have any tips for people who doubt themselves, that they are not good enough when they clearly see that other people less skilled in your field doing really well?
Virtual assistant ? … hmmm 🤔 I just do data entry for orders- I don’t do emails or responding to anyone. Would that be the same? Or any other suggestions?
I would like to know a reliable tshirt company that will do the printing and shipping for my artwork on tshirts. Their product has to be quality and reliable true to size and not skimp. Preferably made in the USA?
Can you share your makeup brands/colors??? I love them!
I feel like I looked ROUGH in this video so this made my heart happy 😂 - if you follow me on Instagram, I’ll share over there on stories tomorrow!
@@jessicastansberry You always look great! I don’t do IG, FB or the like. Hopefully you can talk to it in a future YT episode.
Hi Jessica, how do you start your own online business if you are more "average" at your skills. I've been working off and on as an administrative assistant for the past 18 years. But I don't want to work in an office anymore, I want to work from home and be my own boss. But I hesitate because I don't feel like my "skills" are more than average. How does one find a niche or online business when you are hesitant?
Have you been to Gatlinburg TN? I started a small TH-cam channel about our small tourist town...I can tell you're from the South 😉
Ok, so, I work for Grubhub and am constantly serving in the food delivery world, however, the work is now way slower and there are more drivers then deliveries.
How can I start a similar service from home? My next big question would be, how does one get clients for said service?
If you’re in an area where a small service COULD compete, do it! It’s a proven biz model. Word of mouth is your best bet!
@@jessicastansberry What type of business would I start though?
Etsy didn't work for me
