Now that could have went left had someone opened the door that was crazy and not give me a chance to explain I could have gotten beat, jailed or killed. Even if she was in the wrong apartment she could have respected him and communicated instead of shooting first. If he were white she wouldn’t have done that. It’s so said. I hope she never get to be an officer ever again. I’m so sorry for the victim and his family.

Would we be so forgiving? I'm a nurse, if I accidentally killed my patient they'd lock me up for longer than a couple of years. Lots of people have to pay for consequences of accidents. Any law enforcement is taught to double tap, because the likelihood of hitting a suspect with one shot, in a high stress situation, is slim to none. Now, if she had hit him one time, and then stood over top of him, and fired a fatal shot, then we're talking about 1st degree murder with intent. She had no intent to murder anyone, when she left the police station that night. And while working 14 hrs could make one delusional, she might still have noticed that she was on the wrong floor, had she not been on the phone sex talking with a married man. Lastly, the whole thing might have been avoided, if the poor man had simply locked his door. That way, her key would not have worked, and maybe she would have gotten the picture. It was just an all around bad scenario, that went terribly sour. She should do the entire 10 years, which is not much for an innocent man's life.

Also, she lived a floor below him, so it was hard not to notice that you had climbed an extra flight of stairs. Hence, the murder charge (s).
