Bio: I am a life long Knoxville, TN angler. Fishing from the bank, kayak, or bass boat. This channel is my creative outlet, but I also hope we can share adventures and learning experiences. I have a wonderful wife, 2 kids, am a leader in the banking industry during the day, and never turn down a chicken sandwich. I have no sponsors or affiliate deals, so all of my reviews and information is purely experiential.

Not sure where you are located, but, it’s a great time to visit with the water being high. Can paddle in areas that are normally dry.

As much as I love fishing, I'm also a history geek that likes exploring. AND an ex coal miner. Very cool stuff sir!

Thanks! I fished a little, but when there were no bites on the ned rig.. I knew it was a better day for exploring. It’s a easy paddle and not much boat traffic even on a the holiday weekend.

I wouldn't swim in that.......I live the opposite side of where you are. The pigeon river is very polluted.

I know it used to be really bad, and probably isn’t great now, but not sure there is any “clean water” around here.
