Absolutely… there was a point last season where he referred to Ross Barkley’s remontada in every single video, regardless of topic 😂 We all have our catchphrases though!
Don't be fooled by the internet Joe, i'm a Sporting CP fan and also a premier league fan. Ruben will most definitely target Gyokeres and most likely sell one of the current strikers, he is just too good for his system (Hojlund still has some way to go), but sometimes we play with two at the front if a goal is needed or a lot of injuries happen in other positions. Second, he will get a centreback for sure, the current ones at United are not all suited to his high pressing style due to lack of speed, and I think more than Branthwaite he would get Guehi first, because he as a very specific type of centre back needed that is fast, physical and good with the ball (Diomande is his favorite, but I get it it's too expensive at the moment, Inácio is our main defender but the ceiling is not much more than what it is right now). I honestly see him selling Rashford next year, and adapting Bruno Fernandes to that left winger/left AM role, like he has done perfectly with Pedro Gonçalves (and he is scoring like 20 goals a season, I can only imagine what Bruno will do in that type of game). Last but not least, Left Wing Back will be his top priority, United have no one at the moment that can fulfill that role (Dalot is good enough for the right). I think Davies or Grimaldo will be his targets, in January you will see. And what you really need to know with Ruben Amorim, NO ONE is above the team, you can be the best player, if you don't do what its asked of you, you are out immediately. He is like José Mourinho in that sense, he has the players fighting for him, but if someone rocks the steady boat, they will be sold asap. He is amazing with the Press, very humble but very direct and he takes the hits himself, not the team, I think players will enjoy that! It helps also that he was a player at a high level for a decade, so he kind of shares some of his experience as well to the young lads. Man United will do great things if you let him work. And don't worry, he is a guy that if he cannot get who he wants in the market specifically, he dont care for B options unless he doesn't have someone in the academy to launch. He debuted like 10 players in the last 4 years, some of them with amazing results. So don't expect busy summers, expect 2/3 signings if needed that will have impact in the short-medium run, because he never buys anyone over 28 years old :) By the way, he will give a hard time to City this Tuesday, pay attention to the team, you will see :)
@@ehhhhhha26 he also bought Paulinho with 29 here at Sporting, because there was literally no one, like there is no one at the moment for LB at Man UTD...
As a Bournemouth fan, genuinely, he’s not that great. He’s good for his age and for our current level, but he’s not ready for the step up to “a champions league team”.
@diabeetus_9837 Gotta take your word on it. Everytime I've watched him for Bournemouth and Hungry he's looked really good. At 20, there is potential. I'm looking at it as getting these players before they take the next step, when their fee skyrocket. Also, we're not ready for CL ourselves so might be a match 😂
@@sportsfan7460 He always turns up for the Sky cameras 😂. In all seriousness, I like him and he’s good, but he’s very young and raw and IMO he needs to develop more before he’s ready for a big move. I think he has the potential to be a top left back.
I’ve said for ages now, Maxence Caqueret is a Poundland Frenkie De Jong and would be perfect for United. Really good all round midfielder and I can’t believe no one has picked him up yet.
Why is nobody talking about Morten Hjulman? He was a target for the season, and he was made captain bt Amorim at Sportin. He is young, and a beast in mid. And its seems like we need a young mid field beast future cap.??
Yeah but the thing is, he was ugartes replacement, not saying that ugarte is the better player, but he already played under amorim in hjulmands current role, plus he’s young and has a lot of upside, so it isn’t necessarily one of the bigger areas to focus on
We don't need another DM, or at least that shouldn't be our priority this time around. We signed Ugarte and Hjulmand was literally his replacement at sporting. We need to learn to work with what we've got and prioritize the more important positions ie LWB. It'd be redundant rn to be signing Hjulmand considering the priorities. He's a great player, but he isn't what we need rn.
Reports say that Gyokeres will cost 60 to 70 million, below his release clause. I say sell Zirkzee, buy Gyokeres. Chido obi Martins is 16 years old and won’t be ready for another 2 to 3 years. We gotta operate like a big club eg Real Madrid. If madrid didn’t buy Endrick, they would have gone for Gyokeres. I pray and hope Gyokeres doesn’t end up at all of our rivals especially Arsenal because they are an amazing time
ST isn't our priority. Selling Zirkzee would be silly considering PSR. There's no way other teams would go for him considering the price we'd evaluate him at in the club. Bare minimum we'd look to break even, but even then the PSR wouldn't suffice to get us the players in positions that are far more important. The ST position is one of the only positions where we're simply going to have to work with what we've got.
Baleba should be United's no.1 target. I've been saying that to United fans since summer. But after his performance this season, Brighton will probably ask for over £70m
@@LoyalFan9383 don't know the hell you're on about. I've got lots of friends who are United fans in real life as well as on twitter. I don't live on TH-cam 24/7 like you.
I think the big issue is once again we would go into another season praying that Rashford can find his form and be consistent otherwise we are in trouble. I have full faith in Hojlund but he still has a long way to go and Chido would also need time to grow into Senior Football. It's 100% worth going for Gyokeres who is reported at 60-70m Euros. He's 27 next season and there would be less pressure on both Hojlund and Chido. Personally I don't see Zirkzee as a Striker at all. He can be one of the two 10s and Antony can go back to Brazil
I've always like David. I'm quite surprised he's not moved to a big club. He's a no brainer on a free transfer and like you said I'm sure he wouldn't ask for high wages either.
Same scored 1goals this season in 13 appearances, and the most goals he’s scored in a season is 14 and that was in the championship. Now crystal are asking for 65-70 million, just had failed signing all over it
United should try to get some players inn on a free transfer next summer. Alphonso Davis is someone United should try to get. Yes, he will most likely end up at Real. But, strange things has happened. United should also make a move for Calvert-Lewin on a free IMO. The same can be said for Tyrick Mitchell, Angel Gomes, and Kyle Walker-Pieters. United need more english players in the squad.
Only reason alphonso would choose us over real is money so No thnx we need to build our team first then have a conversation with real when we get to their level
We do need more/better squad players, but more importantly we need better starting players and none of those examples (except Davies, who will go to Real) would improve the frst 11.
Branthwaite is not it. It was a blessing in disguise that Everton wanted a laughable sum in the summer. He's another Maguire. Not good enough. Guehi or Ignacio far better options.
Surprised at the lack of a mention of DiMarco at LWB. Can play as a CB in a back three when needed and one of the best specialist wing backs in the world
That graphic is just an excelsheet ... blue shade bold cell for headings..and rest of the grid made invisible ..couldn't be bothered anymore than an excel!
Center backs : Oliver boscagli and jarred brainthwaithe Left wingback:rayon ait nouri Cm:stiller and Manu kone Am:Eze ,Rayan Cherki ,Ibrahim diaz ,kvaradona
Left back/ left wing back is number 1 for me. Wing backs are absolutely huge in the new coaches system. Have to attack and come back and defend. Davies is perfect, but unrealistic. I love frimpong and I know jim does too. Interest in the past. Makes sense
Well firstly the ST position isn't a priority, that's one of the departments where we don't lack rotation. Secondly, you'd want the ST to have some experience under his belt for one of our strikers to learn from. Lastly, the striker is only about as good as the rest of the attack. If we can't get our forwards to create chances then signing new strikers would almost be redundant.
Bring Alcaro back might be the move. Amorim has seen alot of him in portugal. He would also cheap, good and home grown. Dont think we could pass that up if Amorim likes him. Shaw can become become backup for lb and lcb with Amass coming through as lb option going forward. Malacia can be moved on, injuries have ruined his career at united, might be best to move him on. Would be a pretty nice solution for multiple players/positions.
Honestly, I don't think it's as good as you make it out to be. I get the idea behind, but I think considering where we currently stand, this isn't a good enough rotation. The lwb is a HUGE problem that we have at the club, and sorry to say this, but I don't think Shaw is coming back. I'd be looking to get rid of him over the winter or summer transfer window. That sort of leaves you with Amass who isn't fully in the first team yet, and Mazroui/Dalot who don't naturally play there. As a result, I just don't think it'd be smart to be signing another youngster in that position. You'd need someone with genuine experience and understanding of the game in that position. Yes Alvaro is talented, but the PL is a different animal. Areas of his plays where comes out short will most definitely be exposed and taken advantage of. I get he's on the cheaper end, but he doesn't have enough experience to be leading that position considering how crucial that position is for us right now.
I think United will got 1 or 2 of these guys (Inacio,Gyokeres,Fresneda,Edwards,Pedro) since Ruben Amorim might wanted his former players joined United. Then for Left back, should have been Ait Nouri. Midfields, maybe Wharton is the top target but Ederson (Atlanta) and Stiller is another option. AM, i think it would be Pedro. ST, this is what i doubting cause they just spend money for Zirkzee unless they put him on sale. But seems unlikely knowing Zirkzee still have long contract and need to find buyer for him. So the striker position looks difficult for now.
Trust me if Ruben Amorim gets these players to United. I guarantee Man United will come back stronger than ever. Forwards: Lautaro Martinez Viktor Gyokeres Serhou Guirassy Jonathan David Omar Marmoush Mateo Retegui Wingers/Midfielders: Kingsley Coman Nico Williams Khvicha Kvaratskhelia Karim Adeyemi Jamie Gittens Zaire-Emery Alex Baena Amine Adli Said Benrahma Edon Zhegrova Rayan Cherki Bilal ElKhannouss Abde Ezzalzouli Amara Diouf Defenders: Alphonso Davies Jeremie Frimpong Goncalo Inacio Trevoh Chalobah Ousmane Diomande Castello Lukeba Yann Bisseck Miguel Gutierrez Bradley Locko Thank me later.
I like jimbo's shout of singo Stiller or maybe we get pedro goncalves as we need someone who knows the system and maybe for the left back I like Miguel from girona
Inacio seems like a real possibility considering his age and his best foot. Amorim likes center backs that can actually pass the ball and still doesn't have a lefty in the squad.
United should've parted ways with Erik ten Hag in the summer and allow Amorim to take over, now I feel the season might get a bit messy for United even if they signed Amorim.
As in Amorim's system the center of the pitch and therefore the central positions are most important, I think we shouldn't pay big money for a LWB. Due to PSR we can't spend big atm. I think Ait-Nouri is a great shout and let's hope Malacia or Shaw can stay fit enough to play part-time roles. I'm happy with Martinez,De Light and Yoro as starting CB's, no need to pay big cash, I'd rather go for a backup or talent. Maybe extend Lindelöf's and Maguires contract for one season, if we don't find one of those options for a reasonable price. All the other positions I would like to see how players adapt to Amorim and how he uses them. Generally I think we have the greatest need for another CM, but let's where Amorim sees Kobbie and maybe he can get something out of Mason Mount...
As a Sporting fan, based on every press conference that Ruben as ever given, It's safe to assume that if Ruben had to go for a Sporting player it would be Pedro Gonçalves. Shocking that he wasn't in the list included.
We NEED 2 centre-backs in the Summer. Lindelof and Evans will be out of contract leaving us with only Licha, de Ligt, Maguire and Yoro. Need a left-footed centre-back to compete with Licha (Schlotterbeck/Lukeba) and a right-footed centre-back to compete with Yoro (Tapsoba)
I love Branthwaite but I think questions would arise about how good he is on the ball given Amorim's reliance on the left and right centre back's quality in build up. Need to find someone as close to Bastoni's mould as possible ideally.
We already Got Martinez who has the passing range of a midfielder so that's sorted, Lindelof is a ball playing CB as well but his defending is ass, De ligt looks clumsy same with Maguire so yeah maybe we need 1 CB to partner Martinez
De Ligt has been solid. This system suits Maguire and I can easily see him being reintegrated and performing. Yoro will play RCB and Evans will do for now covering at the centre of a 3. Left centre back is the problem Martinez’s injury record and weakness defending wide spaces means it’s almost certain we sign a LCB.
If you look at the 3 starting cbs at Sporting they are all fast, strong and athletic and when you look at United’s they are the opposite, I only see yoro as having a similar mold but he’s 18. United will seriously need to invest in the defense imo
100%. As a Sporting fan, Im convinced he will try to bring Inacio with him either in January (for the clause) or in the summer for a lower fee. Amorim loooves different cb profiles
@@alexvasquezvasquez3113 Branthwaite would be £70M+ but to get quality we have to sign him but only if we free up the wages of Maguire,Lindelöf and Antony.
I mean I wouldn't say our backline is necessarily the opposite. I think Yoro and De Ligt will do. Sure they're not rapid, but they're certainly not slow either. I think the one of the three that is more likely to be exposed is Martinez.
Assuming everyone stays (obviously unrealistic), I'd say we only really NEED a LWB. We have young players with upside that I believe Amorim can improve like Amad, Hojlund, Zirkzee, Yoro, Amas
Davies has always wanted a more attacking role than what he has at Bayern - he was a winger most of his career and plays more forward for Canada. I think if he sees progress with United under Amorim it could be a very very appealing move for him to come to United over Madrid - especially when they've shown zero urgency to try and bring him in and gave Mendy a new contract. His role in the squad for United is much more clear than it is for Madrid. Davies - one of the fastest players in the world - with Amass as an understudy would be lethal.
I dunno though, Davies is at that level where even if Real doesn't make it clear he is their priority that he would back himself to succeed even if that means a little bit of rotation with Mendy. Also if Ancelotti switches to a 2 striker system like a lot of people are suggesting with Mbappe and Vinicius he could play in front of Mendy as a more defensive minded left midfielder?
For me Davies is the most ideal lwb on paper for Utd. He ticks virtually every single box you could imagine. However, I just don't think it's realistic. Yes I understand that the appointment of a new manager, especially and exciting one that'd allow Davies to play the football he'd want to play, is very exciting. That said, I think Utd's track record of success needs to improve if you want to see Davies signed. Consdering our past and our promises of progressing etc. it's safe to say we haven't lived up to them at all. It's been an absolute graveyard for many young talented players. If we want Davies signed, then Amorim's performance with the team is beyond crucial this season. Not saying we need to be top 3 but there genuinely has to be some sort of enticing result/progression that'd be attractive enough to get Davies to join. The reaility is there are many other European clubs that are currently doing much better than we are. Real Madrid is likely the most attractive option for Davies. We know that there has been interest from Madrid's side, and likely from Davies too even though it hasn't been confirmed, but I think it's safe to assume that it's almost mutual betweent he 2 parties. I think the one thing that plays into our hand, at least in the case of Real Madrid, is that they're not exactly making Davies look like a priority signing, let alone a priority player, and I'd be surprised if that's attractive for a player with Davies' ceiling. He wants play time. He wants responsibilty. This is sort of the only thing that we can genuinely guarantee Davies. I'm not saying that this signing is impossible, for the very reason that we're Man Utd. We're one of the only clubs in the world that can be a shadow of its former self yet still have a massive pull. But really, the signing of Davies comes down to so many variables and they must all align, hence why the odds of him joining Utd is so so slim. But if we by some chance manage to sign Davies, and it's a signing Amorim wants, then I genuinely think we'd be a very very dangerous team. But firstly, the players that we currently have will have to prove that they understand Amorim's tactics and setup, because frankly, we've never really played this formation at all so everything is completely new. Hell there's no guarantee that Amorim will play his 3-4-3 which is scary enough in of itself.
@@someasiandude8645 I think Davies transforms our club - and there have been lots of reports of Madrid cooling off their interest in him. Also as mentioned he gets to watch Amorim at United for almost a whole season before he has to decide - I think if Amorim turns this club around and gains momentum - the move becomes much more appealing with the attacking role, charasmatic manager and of course - it is still Man United, the biggest club in the World. The key is that Amorim shows progress this season - if that happens, I think Davies is more realistic than people are giving him credit for. If INEOS and Amorim show they are turnign this club around, I think its an easier choice for Davies than we think.
@@pranavbutaney1898 He wants an attack minded role though - he has voiced this repeatedly since being at Bayern. For me the key is INEOS and Amorim showing signs of moving in the right direction this year. Man United is still Man United - I don't think recent performance matters if things turn around going forward - remember he doesn't have to decide until Summer - so he gets to watch all season. I think if United turn it around, we get Davies. Think it is an easy decision for him if we have momentum behind us tbh because it is the exact role he is looking for and he'd be the out and out starter.
at madrid carlo is retiring at the end of this season and there's a huge possibility of xabi alonso joining them under alonso, davies will also have a grimaldo type of a role in madrid i don't see davies coming to united unless we give him a great contract
Wingbacks are key so I think Frimpong would be a great signing, young and talented. As a Canadian I would want Davies too but he's a little injury prone
Amorim is really really really stubborn, but everytime he made a choice it went great for Sporting. The problem is that he left Sporting in bad terms and therefore I dont see Sporting selling their players under the release clause. Inacio is for sure getting signed though, and Ait Nouri too also, Amorim is going to get younger players from Sporting, maybe Quenda, that kid is a wonderkid and will be the best at his position in 2 years time. He is going to try Gyokeres but 100M is just too much specially when you have Holjund. Hjulmand will probably not be needed since United has Ugarte.
I think united should Inacio he played for Amerim plus he is young. Also think they should buy Fernandez he would be cheap but I would also sign Davies if you can convince him or Alt Nouir and I would love Baleba as a cm option. So thats one cb two lbs and a cm. I mean we should probably sign two or more cbs but idk which ones.
Without a shadow of a doubt, Amorim would try Pedro Gonçalves for AM or Hjulmand for CM before any of these shouts. (Assuming he will have a say in transfer market and will be looking for these roles). My experience with him is that he will want at least one more CB (Inácio that can do any of the 3 roles) and a LWB firs and foremost.
@@joethomlinson_both Pedro Gonçalves and Inácio have already been linked to a PL move multiple times. Amorim has said before he rates hjulmand higher than ugarte and João Palhinha. But we'll see I guess
@@danielsoares5654 United won't sign Hjulmand. Hjulmand could be around 50m-60m that's big pennies there. Should go for Ederson (Atlanta) or Angelo Stiller. Then for LWB, i suggest Ait Nouri from Wolves. You can get Inacio too for Lisandro's backup and sucessor. Got 40m or 50m release clause, that's should be easy.
I am a Sporting fan and i see all the games from Sporting with ruben..... You dont see the big picture....ruben dont always play with the same players in the position they usually play....he plays with RB at CB he plays with CB at RB when he need other kind of defensive attitude. Last cup game he played with a RWB at CB and a RB at LWB. We never know what he will do.
And thats why he is so effective.. eheh..! (Portuguese here.., Liverpool and Amorin fan..) But.. If Amorin gets his way, and I think he will soon enought, then even Liverpool and City or Arsenal will have a tought time agains't Man United.. 😏
The correct answer is Guehi, Fernandez, Robinson, Gomes, Stiller and David. With Guehi joining and moving Luke Shaw to CB, you fill the depth needed and push the starters. You’ll need 2 LBs are moving Shaw and Fernandez and Robinson will come cheap. Gomes is on a free so it’s a no brainer in a position we desperately need depth. David is also a free and would be another no brainer.
for the CAM position, Amorim should sign Pedro Goncalves and bring him with from Sporting. would make sense since it’s a player he’s worked with and is familiar with the manager and system

Bit random but has Kvaratschelia got some crazy long contract or something? I have no idea why big teams are not forming a queue for that guy, he’s class. Would absolutely love him at United.
Wouldn’t fit under Amorim really, in that front 3, goncalves drifts almost centrally and plays more like a creative inside forwars (bruno) and hojlund/garnacho could emulate gyokeres/edwards. Where do you envisage kvara fitting? You want to stunt your “starboy”? Also where do you expect you lot to find the 80mp+ it’s gonna take to sign him?
@ more just mentioning it because I feel like no one is looking at him, despite his talent and age. But to be honest I’d happily sacrifice Garnacho’s play time if it meant we would sign Kvara, he’s twice the player, and I like Garnacho.
@@noahleon9650 You really think so? Honestly think what kvara is, is what he’ll always be. Garnacho on the other hand, even if i am admitting this regrettably, has a much higher ceiling IMO. Talent like this has to be raised and nurtured, not thrown out for a shiny new thing, who by the way, has only performed in probably the second worst top 5 european league (la liga is equally as shit tho). Differing opinions i guess, im a bit of a romantic when it comes to nurturing your own talent vs buying.
@ no I do agree in many ways. Like I said I do like Garna so I’m not bashing him, and I’d love him to get more minutes than he has been and become a mainstay who fulfills his potential one day. I just think it’s quite obvious that Kvara has a higher ceiling, people forget he’s also only young himself, and to say he won’t ever improve seems naive. Look at Salah at Roma, who was similar age before he went to Liverpool, and pre Liverpool he was just seen as a good player, not world class.
Buying players who are exclusively good at playing WB is so risky and a risk y’all cant take. Especially if Amorim turns out to be the next Villas Boas and a new coach comes in who plays a back 4
Guehi/Branthwaite would be decent signings as they can play LCB as well as CB, are PL proven & would count as homegrown. Particularly that last point because we've lost some homegrown players recently (Mctominay, Wan-Bissaka, Greenwood), and I think we could lose more namely Rashford, Sancho & Heaton. Only downside would be the fee as they're English.
Sporting is lowering the price on Gyokeres in the summer. Problem then will be Arsenal, Barcelona, maybe Liverpool, MCI depending on Haalands situation etc will all be coming for him I think.
Davies is big ithem ticket here! 600£ mil is a lot of money, but we sold some players as well. There are some things that makes me excited for Amorin and thats the fact that we have at least 3-4 players we could sell on. I think were going to be surprised by the way he sets up the team and who he uses. Mainoo and Yoro is players he probably will use when they get back. But he is Portoguese and we have Antony , Casemiro, Dalot and Bruno that all speak Portoguese, then we have Mazraoui, De Ligt, Zirkzee, Højlund and Ugarte they all played with three in the back, but our biggest problem is LWB and Luke Shaw. Thats the first player I would sell. He is the new Martial 😂damage beyond repair, so Davies is without a contract this summer. Then I would sell Maguire, Lindelöf and Evans and Eriksen. I would bring in Harry Amas, Fletcher and Lacey from the youth team together with Obi Martin. Thats four free players for Amorin. He would probably get two first priority players in the summer window and one in January. When it comes to Bruno Fernandes, he would or could end up playing as a SM or out on the right side with Ugarte and Casemiro in the middle and Garnacho deep at the left side. I would like to see Garnacho higher up on the right side and Marcus on the left with Højlund/Zirkzee at top. With three at the back Zirkzee would be able to go deep, just the way he likes it. The biggest problem for Erik Ten Hag was the language barrier and how to communicate. Thats not going to be a problem with Amorin. I think alot of what Ten Hag tried to say got lost in translation and if you didnt played his style down to smallest detail, we end up with a goal in the back our nett. Ten Hag has a brilliant football head and outplayed Pep, Xavi and Klopp, so we knew he had the capabilities, but with Amorin we see him connecting with the players in a different way. We saw the best and the worst play from Ten Hag against Tottenham and Liverpool. Thats down to not connecting with the players and getting the message out the he wanted. Thats not going to be a problem now. The fact that Steve Nicol is bashing his head and talking shit already is a good sign. Liverpool, Chelsea, West Ham, Bayern Munich and Barcelona all wanted this guy and the have some of the finest or best scouts out there. Im excited.
I think buying players from the Portuguese league is always a bad idea. Stepping from there to any top 5 league has been detrimental to a lot of players. Felix, Enzo, Nunez etc.
@@AlexJJChap Bruno? Ronaldo? Nani? Bernardo? Ruben Dias ? Jota? Pedro Neto? Leao? Vitinha ? Not all of them is a bad idea. Depends on how the managers using them in their formation. You can't said that.
These choices are all pessimistic. Why are we expecting to become as good as City and Arsenal when we spend less than them? You can’t just buy a bunch of kids and expect them to do well at United. We’re not Brighton
For CB I think Castello Lukeba or well the Antonio silva ( expensive as hell) are good shouts as well Lwb I guess fernandez is best shout for psr + home grown I don’t think we need a dm Ugarte and Case are fine Tbh I think eze and Xavi should be our targets we have Erikson becoming a free agent this jan so I wont be suprised if we got eze and cb in jan itself
I think signing one or two players that you’ve worked with before is fine and fairly common practice but ten hag was literally trying to sign the whole squad
I get that when people see "left 10' their brain immediately jumps to the easiest definition of that but i promise you, Ruben Amorim left forward is more on an inside forward where he tends to play a second striker (Conrad Harder this season and Paulinho last season). I am begging these youtube accounts to do basic research and actually watch games before spreading misinformation and inciting abuse on players the fanbase doesn't like.
Think left wing back is the obvious big hole in the squad. Lack depth in midfield too but especially in the striker position as zirkzee will not play there in this system, more likely to play as a 10. All comes down to how good we think chido is but I’m still not sure about one player who’s missed a lot of games already for united and a youngster our striker options so gyokares and a left back might be our prime targets
LWB, CB and ST are the only ones that can / will happen. The new manager doesn't come with a magic wand to solve PSR issues. United will not look to recruit in areas they have obvious valid options for unless they manage to sell some more players for a decent fee.
I don't get the ST call.. We have rotation, sure they may not be the most ideal profile for Amorim, but he's gna have to work with what he's go there. CM is a far bigger issue. We have terrible rotation, plus a lot of the rotation option will be out of contract next season and I don't see how he'd want to extend a 30+ y/o contract.
Who would be your number 1 target if you were Ruben Amorim?
Grimaldo from Leverkusen 😊
ait nouri or baleba
Alvaro fernandez
Ait Nouri
Should have been Inacio and Ait Nouri. They are lack on defenders position. Then move to midfields, like Wharton,Stiller, etc.
Not a video goes by without Joe saying the word "Remontada"
It’s all United fans have left to hope for 😂
Absolutely… there was a point last season where he referred to Ross Barkley’s remontada in every single video, regardless of topic 😂
We all have our catchphrases though!
😂😂 or the little intellectual chin grasp ie 🤔
So don't expect busy summers, expect 2/3 signings if needed that will have impact in the short-medium run, because he never buys anyone over 28 years old :)
By the way, he will give a hard time to City this Tuesday, pay attention to the team, you will see :)
Solid point
Never buys anyone over 28 but will go for Grimaldo whos 29?

It's a great list, subscribed now.
Why is nobody talking about Morten Hjulman? He was a target for the season, and he was made captain bt Amorim at Sportin. He is young, and a beast in mid. And its seems like we need a young mid field beast future cap.??
Yeah but the thing is, he was ugartes replacement, not saying that ugarte is the better player, but he already played under amorim in hjulmands current role, plus he’s young and has a lot of upside, so it isn’t necessarily one of the bigger areas to focus on
I just dont need an English center back for over 50 mil.
@@FPL_Sassy like Branthwaite
We don't need another DM, or at least that shouldn't be our priority this time around. We signed Ugarte and Hjulmand was literally his replacement at sporting. We need to learn to work with what we've got and prioritize the more important positions ie LWB. It'd be redundant rn to be signing Hjulmand considering the priorities. He's a great player, but he isn't what we need rn.
Hjulmand was ugartes replacement ? Unneccesary signing but great player
I didn't realise how good David's goal numbers were. How has he not found a new club yet?

Why not go for Ederson from Atlanta or Angelo Stiller ??
Cheap and decent too
I think the big issue is once again we would go into another season praying that Rashford can find his form and be consistent otherwise we are in trouble.
I find eze overrated personally
Same scored 1goals this season in 13 appearances, and the most goals he’s scored in a season is 14 and that was in the championship. Now crystal are asking for 65-70 million, just had failed signing all over it
Both of yas clearly don’t know ball then
United should try to get some players inn on a free transfer next summer.

For strikers, the man who sunk us. Samuel Omorodion. Genius signing
@ Nobody asked you, i dont care, i would like omorodion at united
Bring Alcaro back might be the move. Amorim has seen alot of him in portugal. He would also cheap, good and home grown. Dont think we could pass that up if Amorim likes him.
Shaw can become become backup for lb and lcb with Amass coming through as lb option going forward. Malacia can be moved on, injuries have ruined his career at united, might be best to move him on.
Would be a pretty nice solution for multiple players/positions.

@@a-dh8ts oh our Alvaro Carreras, let him alone, he is ok were he is, in my Benfica
I like Adam Hlozek from Hoffenheim. Consistently good player and still young.

I think the best option would be to get a good left back and centre back and one statement signing for the new manager that would probably be Gyokores
No chance wolves would let ait nouri go for less than 50M, one of their most important players
Think Junior Firpo from Leeds would be a shrewd purchase. A nice 15 mill for a ready made boss
Frimpong's buy out clause ended in the summer how we didn't go for him in the summer for 40m euros is crazy he will be 70-80m easy now
We NEED 2 centre-backs in the Summer.
Mazraoui has never played as a wingback for Ajax. He did play on the inside while supporting attack.
I love Branthwaite but I think questions would arise about how good he is on the ball given Amorim's reliance on the left and right centre back's quality in build up. Need to find someone as close to Bastoni's mould as possible ideally.
@@jamesrushton816 we've lost 20M+ in less than a week we need to free up wages
Branthwaite fits the bill then - extremely quick.
Man U need to target a right sided centreback, left wingback and a centre forward. Teze, Grimaldo and Gyokeres would be very smart signings.
Think it is an easy decision for him if we have momentum behind us tbh because it is the exact role he is looking for and he'd be the out and out starter.
at madrid carlo is retiring at the end of this season and there's a huge possibility of xabi alonso joining them
under alonso, davies will also have a grimaldo type of a role in madrid

Wingbacks are key so I think Frimpong would be a great signing, young and talented. As a Canadian I would want Davies too but he's a little injury prone
We only need two LWB and one no.10 to compete with bruno. If we want to splurge, we can add one 6
We're covered at RWB with Dalot & Mazraoui
interesting suggestions for the PEFECT signings
Amorim is really really really stubborn, but everytime he made a choice it went great for Sporting. The problem is that he left Sporting in bad terms and therefore I dont see Sporting selling their players under the release clause. Inacio is for sure getting signed though, and Ait Nouri too also, Amorim is going to get younger players from Sporting, maybe Quenda, that kid is a wonderkid and will be the best at his position in 2 years time. He is going to try Gyokeres but 100M is just too much specially when you have Holjund. Hjulmand will probably not be needed since United has Ugarte.
Gyokeres solves our attack
I think united should Inacio he played for Amerim plus he is young. Also think they should buy Fernandez he would be cheap but I would also sign Davies if you can convince him or Alt Nouir and I would love Baleba as a cm option. So thats one cb two lbs and a cm. I mean we should probably sign two or more cbs but idk which ones.
Gomes is also out of contract, was in United before and is an AM after all.
I don't think just because he's utilised a player at Sporting it makes for a carbon copy PL signing.

Dougie won't be happy with the Chris Rigg option😂 But yeah even Solanke went for 60m so Gyokeres or Boniface would be even more no?
Ederson from Atlanta we were already scouting him last window
2027 I think - one for a couple summers I think!
I think they need realistically dumfries, ait nouri/robinson,wharton,diomande,guehi,gyokeres and rigg
Also they need to sell a LOT of players
Federico Dimarco is no:1 LWB in the world right now
Buying players who are exclusively good at playing WB is so risky and a risk y’all cant take. Especially if Amorim turns out to be the next Villas Boas and a new coach comes in who plays a back 4
Bring in 1cb, 1 #10, 1 striker and 2 LB
Comparing Eze to Graelish is a disservice to Eze.
Guehi is literally a better than Braitwaithe for a fraction of a price.
Ah yes, new manager, 200m in the summer, things really are changing!
There is a saying that Buongiorno from Napoli is being monitored by our scouts. If we do sign him, he will be our 1st pick instead of Martinez
See us going all out for Cole Palmer for that right 10
Joey Veerman is a player forgotten at CM, Milos Kerkez at LB
I am suprised no mention of their wingers. Antony out, new one in, and rashford needs competition.
Amorim’s system doesn’t use wingers
Damn. The same video title as Dougie 👀
Inacio is underated
@@Matthew-wy9wdyeah it’s far better than Netherlands league
@@AlexJJChap a 5 time Ballon D'or winner came from Sporting

Inacio is potentially way better than guehi ... all the choices plus rigg can be realistic
These choices are all pessimistic. Why are we expecting to become as good as City and Arsenal when we spend less than them? You can’t just buy a bunch of kids and expect them to do well at United. We’re not Brighton
Give Harry Amass a chance.
Mad coincidence thia was uploaded at the exact same time with the exact same title as the lowdown on sky? 👀
Yeah I seen that 😂
What is up with that, they all still work together don't they?
For CB I think Castello Lukeba or well the Antonio silva ( expensive as hell) are good shouts as well
Lwb I guess fernandez is best shout for psr + home grown
I don’t think we need a dm Ugarte and Case are fine
Tbh I think eze and Xavi should be our targets we have Erikson becoming a free agent this jan so I wont be suprised if we got eze and cb in jan itself
Oscar Gloukh from Salzburg is unreal. Could be a long term replacement for Bruno as well
Zionist
Carlos Baleba from Brighton
@@play-on-official 70m minimum
It’s okay just give Amorim which signing he prefer to sign
I think signing one or two players that you’ve worked with before is fine and fairly common practice but ten hag was literally trying to sign the whole squad
I get that when people see "left 10' their brain immediately jumps to the easiest definition of that but i promise you, Ruben Amorim left forward is more on an inside forward where he tends to play a second striker (Conrad Harder this season and Paulinho last season). I am begging these youtube accounts to do basic research and actually watch games before spreading misinformation and inciting abuse on players the fanbase doesn't like.
If we play a back 3 we would need some scouting to bring in at least 3 to use with Martinez DE Ligt and Yoro we wouldn't sign big at CB
Hey Joe, you spelt 'perfect' wrong in the title mate 😂
LWB, CB and ST are the only ones that can / will happen.
The new manager doesn't come with a magic wand to solve PSR issues. United will not look to recruit in areas they have obvious valid options for unless they manage to sell some more players for a decent fee.
I don't get the ST call.. We have rotation, sure they may not be the most ideal profile for Amorim, but he's gna have to work with what he's go there. CM is a far bigger issue. We have terrible rotation, plus a lot of the rotation option will be out of contract next season and I don't see how he'd want to extend a 30+ y/o contract.
