If you ride in a planted field, this can kill the plants before they even sprout, or compact the soil so that any growth is stunted, impacting yield. Rather than lecture the kids on farming, he just tells them not to ride there, perfectly reasonable. 2.) he may not want the liability of people getting hurt on his land. Sure, he probably wouldn't be liable, but it is his right as landowner to kick people off his property.

Speaking as a mature rider with many accidents and lessons learned the hard way. These young punks on bikes are embarrassing to older bikers, thinking they can go around berating other road users, when all the other drivers are doing is going about their business,- often doing wrong things - and not specifically watching out for motorcycles and the "special needs" of motorcyclists and their egos. How many bad experiences do motorcycle riders have to have before they learn that they have to ride like they are invisible, and that they have to treat other road users like they are trying to kill them. That's the way it is. Grow up before you hurt yourself or get hurt, or someone else. Seriously.
