What’s amazing about this film is as Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore‘s character get closer to eventually falling in love, they actually attempt to connect with each other‘s kids first and show each other how to become a better parent. The scene with Lauren and the girls in the tent always such a tearful and impactful moment. Another amazing moment when Jim takes the initiative to show Tyler how to be show good sportsmanship and Brandon how to channel his aggression and handle life’s difficult moments. I highly recommend Adam Sandler‘s murder mystery and just go with it. I also highly recommend you Barrymore‘s ever after and the stand in.

Very underrated movie. I can relate to it. Excellent movie. The reverse nod to Wedding Singer scene near the end was brilliant. He call her Lary , because her name is Hilary, Lary for short.
Such an underrated movie honestly , the scene with Larry and Lauren and the music transitions kill me every time.

Sandler and Barrymore have a chemistry that is evident...no matter what kind of movie they are making.
Dillon I think Drew's best performance is "Ever After A Cinderella Story ". I will even credit you $20 for a movie reaction. She does so good it also stars angelica Houston and the actress that plays "Rose" on two and a half men. Pleae do that reactiom to that movie 🙏🙂❤️

This was a fun view with ya. Wish you were watching it with yer wife, the looks and laugh you'd give each other would be so cool.
Also, this is kinda an unofficial last part to the Adam/Drew trilogy of movies (Wedding Singer 1998, 50 First Dates 2004) so it has that 'and now we see them with kids' stage of their 'film career' sorta deal, it wasn't just two random actors doing the usual 'they blend' trope. Hope ya check out the others :)

Weirdly enough, I gotta agree. I noticed some 'chemistry' that only a lens brings. I get the whole Drew and Adam closing out the unofficial trilogy with this flick, and it makes sense to take it to the parent stage, but with Jen and Adam, they were magic when they were in the same shot.
