Raft's whole body was focused and aware right down to his fingertips. Amazing to watch his concentration, as if nothing existed beyond his partner.

Love how he holds the woman’s hand against his side instead of in the air. A girl didn’t stand a chance resisting this guy!

Whatever woman prefers his type of guy, yes, he could certainly win her.

He seemed so focused. Leading the woman. He was in control.

George Raft was a expert dancer. You can see that he had experience before he went to Hollywood.

George was a dancer for fifteen years before he became an actor. He was charming, sexy and loved women. His tango brought all of that together.

George knew how to dance with a female so well. Watch how he waits to to dip her and take her in his arms when she does her dance spins at the start. He was a class act and sexy beyond belief.

Usually the woman is the focus but Raft steals the scene in dance every and I mean EVERY time! What a man!

@Ed Miller bad choices just because he didn't want to a gangster all the time? Have you seen Bolero, Rumba and Nocturne?

@@edgardolopez1862 Yes, he was a better dancer than Bogart. As an actor, now that’s another matter.

What the hell. I have seen 3 of these dance clips of George Raft doing the Tango and they cut away to Fred Merts from I love Lucy fame leering from the wings?
It's just creepy to see William Frawley in every clip. Did he have a contract with Raft's agent or the Studio?

George Raft at his very finest. Anyone recognize Bill Frawley in the camera cutaways? He later played Fred Mertz in “I Love Lucy”.

My father danced this dance had a contract to go to Hollywood, but was too young. My grandmother would not sign the contract. My father never forgot. Valentino was his model. My father was better looking than Raft.

She has a small, but nice part in the 1934 Joan Crawford film, Foresaking All Others
