If you ever go “Walleye” fishing, try your “Chicken-Rig” method using a big fat earthworm. I have caught so many nice sized “Walleye” using this method - a sinker on the bottom and about a foot up, a hook with a nice “head of a worm” on there, I think you will be amazed. They love the heads the most.

Sheepshead is my favorite out on that side of the state. I'm still learning flounder and drum, but I can consistently get into the sheep. Sharks suck, man. I was hooked into the biggest red drum I've ever seen out in the Neuse, last fall. The water boiled. The drum was gone. It scared the stuffing out of me!

  • @miless544

We run into the same issue with seals. If you see your fish being targeted, hit the free spool and let it escape. The shark will lose interest and you can reel the fish in. So many anglers make the mistake of keeping pressure on the fish when it is trying to escape. Just makes things easier for the shark.

Hey love the videos. Few questions
What type of sharks are they?
Why don't people fish for sharks for fun like musky?
I live about 1000 miles to the ocean so I have no clue. Fun to watch though.

Had that happen in the ferry once but it was at night and the fish was on a stringer already. Very nearly gave me a heart attack.

0:42 A high-low rig with a single hook seems like a bit of an oxymoron.
