    THE SRF LESSONS
The SRF Lessons teach you how to live a balanced and successful life by awakening your connection to the Divine. The SRF Lessons are a transmission of sacred knowledge that will uplift and transform all aspects of your life: a progressive, home-study program teaching meditation techniques and the essence of spirituality handed down through a renowned lineage of yoga masters - Mahavatar Babaji, Lahiri Mahasaya, Swami Sri Yukteswar, and Paramahansa Yogananda - and available to you.
The Lessons were originated by Paramahansa Yogananda. At the core of his teachings is a powerful system of meditation techniques: the Kriya Yoga science of meditation. This ancient science of the soul-to which millions have been introduced by Autobiography of a Yogi and other books by him-provides powerful methods for awakening higher spiritual consciousness and the inner bliss of divine realization.
While building a solid foundation for deep meditation, you will learn three powerful techniques taught by Paramahansa Yogananda as necessary first steps in the comprehensive spiritual science of Kriya Yoga: Energization Technique and Exercises, Hong-Sau Technique of Concentration and Aum Technique of Meditation.
All sincere seekers of spiritual consciousness- regardless of religious affiliation-can receive the above techniques in the basic series of the SRF Lessons. After learning and practicing these three basic techniques during the first eight months of Lessons study, those who wish may apply for initiation into Kriya Yoga. Initiation entails a deeper commitment to this path. Study and practice of the basic Lessons will enable you to determine if you wish to make that commitment.
Whether or not one decides to go on to receive Kriya Yoga, all who are earnest in their application of the techniques taught in the basic series of Lessons can build for themselves a profoundly rewarding meditation practice. They will be able to prove for themselves Paramahansa Yogananda’s assurance that the highest states of divine consciousness can be attained through the basic techniques listed above-though Kriya Yoga is the fastest and most effective method.

Many people may doubt that finding God is the purpose of life; but everyone can accept the idea that the purpose of life is to find happiness. I say that God is Happiness. He is Bliss. He is Love. He is Joy that will never go away from your soul. So why shouldn’t you try to acquire that Happiness? No one else can give it to you. You must continuously cultivate it yourself.

I understand everything sir but i have few questions...one of them is if everything is just an illusion or a movie then how should a common lay person respond to life situations where the opposite person may hate us say nasty or do nasty to is or even kill us ...what should be our way to handle the characters in this movie where every character has dynamism and they may not feel the se as we do ...sir pls help...i am a seeker

@jayeetadey3399 am a seeker too...till the point one sees something apart from oneself and not as unity (we souls are parts of the ultimate one) ....only till that time does one believe that the creature next to you is someone else
Whoever might be doing whatever is of no concern but what really matters is what you are doing ...Are we following the divine and path shown towards divine ??
These questions which arise from inside which really need to be answered to progress in the path of divine .
Seek the right guidance and stay on the path of divine !!
      MAY PARMATAMA BLESS US ALL!

@@jayeetadey3399 it's truly hard ma'am I understand,as a kriya Yogi ,one who seeks direct contact with God all these things do not remain necessary, guidance is the most important seek it from a sanniyasi if u are in any spiritual organisation or if not join yogada satsang society and ask the questions from a sanniyasi there .I can answer to your question but I don't know if it will help u . sanniyasis are more experienced so ask them

@@jayeetadey3399 About nasty words and ill intentions, gossip etc don't take it personally and don't engage. Don't hold grudges and resentment, just let them go. Also don't judge those people who themselves judge, complain or gossip....
As for physical violence, do what's necessary to remove yourself from the reach of the aggressor. If it's a no escape situation and truly life threatening, you fight and if it happens to inflict major damage so it is.
In that case is survival instict of protecting your body. But you don't get enraged or hateful and you don't do more than necessary.

You can still do whatever you wish to do just having the understanding that this is just a game that you are playing, for eg you can get married, you can have children, you can have money as long as you know you are playing the game.

    • @ajeshkumar2049
      @ajeshkumar2049 ปีที่แล้ว +20

He means to say that during the night we don't have any Center - which is ego, as we don't think in the sleep about our body, mind, breath, senses, family, friends relatives and matter - like mobile and other gadgets/car, home, Opposite sex, etc, that we are so fond of and we think we can't live without them. But on daytime we have identified ourselves with our body, mind, breath, senses, family, friends, relatives, opposite sex and matter and we do everything having these in our center. Ask yourself how many times you haven't done anything putting these in Centre and you will come to know the answer.
So being ego center means you have limited yourself to kam, krodh, moh, lobh, fear & bharam, which you can see in your life - these forces drives you everytime.
Having no center means now you will do what is needed and not what is ego centered (selfishness). It means you will do what is required to do not what you want, because now ego center is not there, the whole world is your family. And then you will come to know that the biggest donation can be given to the world isn't matter (money, food, etc these are just layers outside Physical body), but spiritual knowledge - Upanishads & Bhagwad Geeta which can change the sublte body that leads (driver) the physical body. If you have willingness (jigyasa), you can also have darshan of karan sharir that drives subtle body.
Listen to Prabhu Shri Ram, Bhagwan Shri Krishna, Mahatma Buddha, Mahavir, Acharya Chanakya, Adi Shankaracharya, Osho, J.krishnamurti, U.G Krishanmurti, & Acharya Prashant, they all are directing to same point.
Read /Hear Geeta by Acharya Prashant or Swami Adgadanand ji.
Note to the Reader - Purpose of Meditation & Yoga isn't to seek anything, but to dissolve the seeker, so that there is no seeker to seek.
This is not for any religion, but dor mankind.

@@ajeshkumar2049 thank you so much for the explanation! You are very kind to throw light on this.
I get ur point stating that by keeping ego aside we can make a shift from "what we 'want' to do" to "what is required to do be done instead".
I still can't figure out, if I remove what I want to do then what else is supposed to be done?
      Sorry bothering you again!

    • @ajeshkumar2049
      @ajeshkumar2049 ปีที่แล้ว +1

@@poonamjoshi4636 Let me explain it to you by an example, did you know which kind of colleg / university degree you will get when you were 5 yrs old or 10 yrs old.
Answer is no - nobody knows. You knew it only when you entered in the age from where you can see that getting degree is important right? So do relative high to just see absolutely high.
You have to get a taste of peace/anand to know what needs to be done you can't predict as prediction is nothing but coming from past memories. To do that to attain a glimpse of peace/anand I can tell you to do 3 methods, but don't stick to them use them and throw them once you attain that you got.
      1. Do Bhastrika pranayam when you are awake (means full day - home or office wherever you are, do it the way that other can't find it out that you are doing , do it only when you are alone not when somebody is there).
      2. Ashwini Mudra - do it for seconds for some days and increase it as per your capacity
      3. Read Vigyan Bhairav Tantra by Osho and use methods given in it - choose that which is suitable for you. I chose 1st and it worked out
Note - We are driven by Kam, Krodh, Moh, Lobh, Fear & Bharam (Called as Maya). So we are practicing these in every micro-second and every second without knowing. So once you do above practices, it may seem scary to you, but remember it just means that your subtle trash is getting cleared up.
Sangarsh Jivan ka poshan hai & Vyarthta Ahankar ka poshan hai - if you want to be peaceful, you have to be ready to fight - subtly not physically. Fight with Kam, krodh, moh, lobh, fear and Bharam.
