Im a beginner and was there yesterday on my YZ250F. Super fun track. I dont quite have the confidence to clear the three small-ish doubles right before the tunnel. Ended up casing it a few times. Didnt crash but harsh landing. Any advice? Just send it?
You might try to gain some comfort in jumping by finding a table and playing with different body positions/throttle inputs until you can know what the bike will do off a jump before you hit it.
I ride at Murphy’s pretty frequently too. I recommend spending more time on the other track, too. The “night” track. The jumps are a lot more forgiving, and the straights have less going on, too. Still lots of fun and you won’t feel like you’re on a beginner track at all. Also, the people riding it tend to be less aggressive and intimidating when they pass you. Those guys are typically on the main track more often. I’ll be there this Sunday!
Did you snort some coke or something during your pit stop at 4ish minutes? Good grief man you shot out of there with a lot more speed and aggression than the first couple minutes.
I was wondering what they were doing there. How did you like the new layout?
