Best rivalry of the premier league era by a long I miss them good old days
Great promos in this! They stopped doing these now before big games for some reason.
That Man Utd Arsenal rivalry in late 90s 00s was just best of the primer league nothing beats it’s what made the premiership
Funny that Bosnich in the year 2000 is wearing the ManUtd goalkeeper top from 1994-1996 lol
CD DB
He has to change his top coz his jersey is yellow and it clashes with Arsenal’s yellow away strip
Mark Bosnich was a poor goal keeper he's a massive step-down from Peter
That intro has 1999/2000 all over it what a era
So good right. Totally forgot about this theme.
@@Scallion_D back to simple time when Arsenal and Man Utd was fighting for the title Arsene vs sir Alex was biggest game of season back in them days
Stam was a great defender like Van Dijk.
38:55-39:30
The good old days of straightforward football, passion and great rivalries
And they say passing from the back is new but Man Utd we’re doing it here!
Beckham was a huge force in this match! Unreal engine.
47:10 Henry in his prime would have scored that.
35:16 Look at how much ground Keane makes up to make that tackle .
he and vieira had unreal engines
Keane was a better leader though, and i say that as a a massive arsenal fans sometimes Viera hid in games. Thanks for uploading
ShadowInfernoKnight1886 Who asked you that ?
@@ShadowKnight1886-1994 Can always tell a United fan by how they misspell Vieira
i sightly misspell Vieira's name and i get stick .Really at the end of the day am just being honest.Am an Arsenal fan but not incredibly biased.
Arsenal should respect United as the home team..Even their socks colour were confusing with United socks..
Was at this game and I'm 100% certain that Sheringham warmed up in front of the away end and was getting the predictable stick "signed for Man United and he won f*ck all"... only to then proceed to "lift" three trophies in response. Lovely stuff
United won the treble the season before
What do Jaap Stam and Robin v.Persie have in common?...other than both being Dutch.
I'll tell you. Both played for ManUtd for 3 years with Stam being in front of a different goalkeeper each season 98/99 Schmeichel 99/00 Bosnich 2000/01 Barthez when many players who were signed before him only had Schmeichel as the main goalkeeper because he played for ManUtd for 8 seasons...and with v.Persie there was a similar rare ManUtd experience he had to other ManUtd players in that he had a different manager each year 2012/13 Ferguson 2013/14 Moyes 2014/15 VanGaal when again many players who joined years before v.Persie were only ever used to having Ferguson as their manager for their whole ManUtd career.
I give reply as an appreciation for your long ass comment
This is some stretch lol.
souster98.....if you put the final score up for everyone to see ... why watch? I'm looking for games I don't know the final score of! sorry!
Sod off you ingrate
6:45 Anyone know the name of that chant?
Jip Jaap Stam is a big dutch man, get past him if you f*cking can, try a trick and he'll make you look a dick, Jip Jaap, Jaap Stam.

Why so cinematic? By sky
What’s the song plays in the ad
Right here right now fatboy slim
Think its a Fat Boy Slim song
1:25:35
Mark Bosnich having to wear an ancient goalkeeper shirt from the club shop in the second half. Better times 😂
45:21 Sir Alex throwing something ?
I can't remember what happened to our title bid in this season
Struggled so much without Scholes controlling the game
Scholes had not transitioned into the type of midfielder that could control the tempo around this time. That was post-2006 Scholes. The younger Paul Scholes played as a 10/second striker.
@@pereirafernando7413 You are talking about the deep lying midfielder position (2006-), but Scholes always played controlling the tempo of the game since the beginning (along with Keane, but Scholes did it all over the pitch, as a box to box mid). Controlling the game's tempo is just his style, not a matter of position.
@@eFMe-fk1xh Not really. This was a period when Scholes' control mostly centered around the forward areas between the 2 strikers and Keane, and I think it was around 2003 where he started to extend his influence over a broader area as Keane aged. However, I understood Fergie's rationale in not playing Scholes this game as Scholes had ghosted in the previous showdown against Arsenal and was suffering from an injury (I believe) during this match.
