Gram and Emmylou were a match made in heaven. When they sang together it was not of this world. But, the devil interfered. It was as if she lost half of herself. Yet the other half was still the greatest female vocalist of all time. I hope that I live a long life and when I die I will go to heaven and find Gram and Emmylou singing together there.

How the hell can 1100 people not like this song? This is by far one of First Aid Kit's best songs! It made Emmylou cry for god's sakes! Some people have no taste in music whatsoever.
Performing for two mega-stars (Paul Simon and Emmylou Harris) and moving them both to applaud enthusiastically at the Polar Music Awards indicates how these two brilliantly talented ladies are respected in the music business. One day, they will be the recipients of such an award and many more.
Oh those feelings. When I was listening to them 2012 I've been at such a different place in my life. Listening to music really is like time traveling. I'm going to cry now. Not because I'm sad or happy, but because of the beauty of this song and life and everything.

I’m from England and I love these voices!! That’s when you know someone is talented… someone on the other side of the world is touched by their voice. I adore these two. My favourite is silver lining… I play it on full blast on the way to work ❤ x
I came across this song while playing Songpop on Facebook. It captured my attention as few songs have these days as I was amazed by the smooth rhythm and that they are very expressive with their words. I listened to some of their other songs and they are good but this one stands out. A beautiful song by two very beautiful and very talented young ladies. May God bless them and their music now and always!
I just discovered these girls thanks to the TH-cam algorithm, and for once, I'd like to thank TH-cam for that. These girls are half my age. One of them, in fact, was born the same year as my daughter (1993). But their talent!! It's way more than their beautiful, otherworldly vocals. Their song crafting and lyricism puts them in the once-in-a-generation category, with the likes of Simon and Garfunkel, Lennon and McCartney, and so on. Like them, their song lyrics live on their own, away from the music. I don't describe myself as a fan because "fan" is the root word for fanatic, and fanatics are rarely sane. But I'm definitely an admirer of their rare talent and look forward to more of their musical output.
You can see how much influence Emmylou has on these two girls. From their style, to their sound, to their lyrics. Just beautiful seeing how artists inspire and transcends to modern artists.
this song has been played every morning at my house, been listening to it since I was a kid. My father recently passed away, this song was played at his funeral and ofc we all started balling our eyes out. Now that I'm older I can appreciate the beauty of this song and why my parents played it everywhere.
Klara's voice is so wonderful and powerful. She is strange and familiar, sharp but soft and filled with a million intricacies that conjure up memories, familiarities and sweet nostalgia, even from the moment you first hear her.
When I heard them singing about Gram Parsons on David Letterman, it sounded like something out of another time. Lovely, ethereal, & real. Great job ladies.
Just fantastic. Also a gorgeous tribute to some of the most iconic and talented musicians of our times. Anyone who honors Emmylou and Gram is tops in my book. This song gives the feels...
One day I'll listen to this song and won't have tears running down, but it'll be a long while still. It's their voices and the steel guitar and the romance in the chorus and the everything. Tack!
Heard these talented girls on our local radio station, they are finally receiving the recognition they deserve. They are the best thing that has happened to music in a long, long time!

And I'm already missing the summer
Stockholm's cold but I've been told

When it's you I find like a ghost in my mind

Just sing little darling, sing with me

If you don't bless them with your patience
And I've been there before, I held up the door
For every stranger with a promise
But I'm holding back, that's the strength that I lack

Performing for two mega-stars (Paul Simon and Emmylou Harris) and moving them both to applaud enthusiastically at the Polar Music Awards indicates how these two brilliantly talented ladies are respected in the music business. One day, they will be the recipients of such an award and many more.
One of the best bands to come out of Sweden since the days of ABBA and Roxette.
This song is so perfect for the fall.
Oh those feelings. When I was listening to them 2012 I've been at such a different place in my life. Listening to music really is like time traveling. I'm going to cry now. Not because I'm sad or happy, but because of the beauty of this song and life and everything.
Their voices blend so well and you can hear every word clearly.
Me and my step mum sang this in the car on the way back home from seeing Christmas lights tonight. I’m so blessed to have such amazing people surrounding me🥺💕
I have a soulmate and this is our song.
glad you've found yours. peace unto you, friend.
Oof, right in the feels D':

This is a song that will always belong to my soul. I can't explain how much I adore this piece of music. True art and an undeniable masterpiece.
This song has the most hauntingly beautiful bridge, I can listen to just those 45 seconds over and over...yep here I go again
Apparently the only people who remember what country music sounds like are Swedish. Honestly didn't see that one coming.
comrade hermit Listen to The Common Linnets and Ilse De Lange (they’re from the Netherlands)
comrade hermit And Douwe Bob
There are many smaller artists in the states that have the country/folk vibe. Josh Turner Guitar on youtube/ The Other Favourites are really good.

"I'm defeated and I gladly wear the crown"
That is one great turn of phrase
one of the best harmonization records ever made..
This has become one of my favorite songs. These girls are terrific, I hope they go far!
You can see how much influence Emmylou has on these two girls. From their style, to their sound, to their lyrics. Just beautiful seeing how artists inspire and transcends to modern artists.
These girls have got it! Swedish people are musical geniuses💕
this song has been played every morning at my house, been listening to it since I was a kid.
8 years later still one of my favourite songs, these girls are wonderful
So are you my friend #wonderful
your songs make me cry..in a good way. Brilliant musicians
This turns 8 years today and it's still hauntingly beautiful.
Love this so much ♥
Still beautiful after 10 years!!! I still love it so much
Just fantastic.
Thank you Sweden. Again a fabulous band. This tune is an ever green. Thanks for being there.
So Beautiful. Love to both of you and Emmylou and June. The Divine Feminine has returned to Mother Earth.
These ladies have talent, harmony. Hard to believe they are overshadowed by the so called music of today.
One of the best bridges I’ve ever heard, no doubt
In this troubled word, these two show that there can still be harmony.
Lovely tribute to Emmylou, June, Johnny, and Gram
I already believed in angels - now I have heard them sing! I am Speechless.....you brought an alpha centaur to tears. so beautiful.
The rath of the Eagle continues to burn the beauty of nature without mercy.
it brings about a melancholic joy...specially in spring and summer afternoons...and truelly opens the memory chest.
Both girls remind me of a young Stevie Nicks ... Love it ..
Finally someone mentions it..I taught I was the only one.

not meaning to start an argument but stevie nicks has sold millions of albums, these two are utterly amazing, and yes I prefer these to stevie nicks, but when they become one of the biggest bands of their era comparison is pointless
Charles Burrell They actually sound like a young Emmylou Harris. I dunno....I kinda thought that was a no-brainer considering the lyrics and title :)

"I'm not sure if Nicks penned much of anything in Fleetwood Mac."
There was no point reading anything after that, as it shows you have no idea what you're talking about.
I absolutely can't stop listening to these young ladies. So much talent.
WE FIGHTING BACK ANTARES WITH THIS ONE🗣️🔥🔥🔥
VIVE L'AQUILA!
One of the very few songs that left me openmouthed when I heard it the first time on my car radio. Perfectly harmonious voices. Even after all those times I heard it, I still like it.
I love Emmylou and I sure have found someone who places her as highly as I do. I love these ladies. Beautifully written and performed. Mixed angelic voices. True talent at its best. Love you ladies
