I love the lace I had diollys for 30 years on my furniture and backs on sofas I thought get rid as it's all old fashioned .now I wish I had kept them .even the runners I had across sideboard and my Chester drawers.i feel now I have lost it all.i could have kept them for future projects but at time I didn't think.did you use a sort of muslin to make the pages of book? And is it all kept together by the ribbon sewn in centre.im giong to look for old lace and am giong to try to make myself a beautiful book like this.where could I get these small scissors from please?? We sadly havnt got hobby lobby. Or Michael's or Joanne's. We don't even have a dollar store.but thank you for sharing its beautiful uk
I'm sorry I'm just seeing this.. Those are my three crafting stores I buy from and believe they were from HL or Michaels. Maybe try your Amazon? Thanks for watching!
Can I be your bestie too!?!🥴. What a beautiful needle book and then some! I saw that you haven’t done a tutorial before. I wish you have! Most I’ve seen done there’s the outside part then felt pieces for the inside. I like how you put trim on all the pages. They are all felt, right? Are the pages sewn down the middle? How did you add the smaller button page? Did you add the trim by hand or did you use a sewing machine? Sorry to pick your brain but I just love it! I think this is the route I’m going. I need to separate out my needles. I like the extras to add to it. Thanks again for sharing! Gail
Thank you for the kind compliment! I have never done tutorials before, afraid my crafting would take too long, I thought I'd the different pages as I went. I really appreciate your kind words though!
Jess, I didn't know you made a video of my beautiful lace book. I am still using supplies from it and love it so much!!! Thank you again, my friend!!! You are so talented!
Your so lucky to have a good friend.its from the heart.in my 72 years I'm a giver.sadly my choice of friends were takers.i did have a genuine friend from Italy but sadly lost touch.but good memories stay.uk
Absolutely gorgeous! You are so talented, you should make a few to sell, I would surely purchase one from you! Happy crafting, keep up the beautiful work!
I so loved seeing this! Your needle book is Fantastic and you've inspired me to Go Create a Needle book! I have so much lace, and I need to use it and get some beauty out into the world. Thanks for sharing!
I just saw your beautiful needle book. I make needle books and Journals. I love the stamp you have on the back with your name. Could you please let me know where you got it. I would love to have one like it. Thanks in advance for the reply.
Sorry this is so late... my friend is actually a papercrafter, so this worked well for her, but it certainly could be customized easily! Thanks for looking!
Thank you, and no, it was just a walkthrough video of a birthday gift. My friend has used a great deal of the contents already too! Thanks for stopping by!
This is an adorable little sewing book, I love it. Some very sweet ideas. I do tatting but Im not sure that the trim you are showing is tatting. Perhaps I am wrong. Beautiful work and I have subbed
Hello! Thanks for commenting... there is very fine tatting in the back of the book, and is golden colored. It uses a very fine thread, and while I taught myself to tat too, I've never used something that small. It kind of amazes me actually, and would like to try it!
Hello! This just popped up as a suggestion and I love it. I’ve been making needle books specifically for slow- stitch projects and I’d love to learn how you make your stick pins. Do you have a video showing your process?
Hi Cori, I don't have a video, but I watched quite a few through the years. Most of my beads come from JoAnn's or Michael's, and the stickpins are from JoAnn's. I think they are the 3" corsage pins. I just start out with larger beads at the top, used the gemstone spacers, or bead caps, and gradually get smaller, leaving enough room for the pin to be put into something. I use E6000 glue for each bead, and then leave it upside down propped against something, so that gravity pulls them all back towards the pearl at the end, since E6000 takes forever to dry. Hope that helps!
@@jessicaeiss2541 hi we don't have e6000 in UK can you suggest another please we are uk can't get anything like you.its a disgrace that we don't have stores like you in USA. I will have to look in charity shops can't even find stick pins.thank you for sharing uk
Gorgeous! I love how you made each page smaller so from the center you glimpse the beautiful lace peeking from every page at once. 👌💖
Thanks so much, and for watching!

I think it came from Hobby Lobby years ago. Thanks for your comment!
I really like it but for me would love more sewing things. Scissors stuff like that but it is very pretty.

How old does something have to be for you to label it 'VINTAGE' I always heard it had to be 50 years old.
I think that's about accurate. I collect old laces, trims, buttons etc
Beautiful
